Thorn said, analyzing the situation, “Leave one side door open—the one in the kitchen. Just say the healer might need to leave to fetch some herbs. Take a man with you, hide yourselves well. I’ll join you soon.” Hugo nodded and quickly strode off. At the great hall of the prince castle, twelve dark knights, fully armored with kite shields and knightly swords, stood with pride and devotion for their prince. No one knew the true identities of the twelve onyx knights. Their order of chivalry was an odd mixture, made up of knights from all ranks. The existence of the order was a violation of the traditional rules themselves, and each member was personally chosen by Thorn. It was rumored that the

With them and my sister, no one can defeat the trio unbeatable but I wish they weren't that over-protective of us. I remembered that one time, Faine and I went to a nightclub with a couple of friends just to have fun, we were dancing on the platform where many people joined us and had fun like us. Yelling and singing like idiots, also alcohols but who snitched on us and told our siblings that we were at a nightclub? I'm still searching for the guilty because of them we were dragged out by two fucking big ass warriors. It's been 5 years since we didn't see them, they are the knights of the Rosla. Akito is the Captain of White Knights, he's like the second commander of the army and Kai is the

He spun around theatrically, holding the crowd of timid townspeople in the palm of his hand, “For her mate - her chosen one is Rocco Valence! Or as you know him, the orphan of the last whore to get her throat slit on these cobbles.” The crowd mumbled and whispered together, checking the perimeter I saw Selene’s blonde sisters hovering nearest to the cage. Adam, the one from the photographs was nowhere to be seen, I’d rather know where that sneaky fucker was before it all kicks off. Wicknace then suddenly threw the axe at us with a strength that was surprising considering his fat, ancient age. As we separated to avoid the spinning blade the three of them shifted. Jimmy and Julien were huge, w

“This night have been so special.” “You’re always welcome,” He said. “I’m glad you liked it.” I smiled at him and gave him my purest thanks. I won’t forget this night with him, I felt like I was a princess and he was my knight. My knight in shining suit, that is. “Do you want to head home now?” He said. “It’s about to get late already and you still have work for tomorrow.” “Yes,” I said. “I think that would be the best thing to do right now.”

Selena and Johanna were seated side by side at the other side of the upper deck with Leah, William, Helena, and Amilek seated by their sides. Suddenly the doors of the great hall open, and royal knights file in at both sides like ants making a straight line. Armed with swords and clouded in shining armor. They matched in making a rhyming beat as their feet kissed the ground. They lined up at both sides of the door, making a path all the way to the priest. They clashed their swords in an X-shaped manner, each knight to the one opposite him. Then they stopped marching; for a brief moment there was silence. Then slowly a man with the air of a mighty wind stepped in

Their uniform, a blue and black shirt with a wolf's head on their chest, a spear in one hand and a sword on their belt, and a crossbow strapped to their back was all they had to defend themselves and the kingdom from the wolves inside the forest. As soon as the sun came up in the sky the guards relaxed their posture as the terrifying sounds end and six people of differing height, build, and gender directed themselves at the gate. One man of the group, dressed in elegant, rich clothes of green and brown with short gray silver hair and dark brown eyes shouted for the guards to open the gate making the two-man team outside jump as they hurry to comply with his order. With heads bowed, they whis

Some books had the history of the Knights, dating back centuries. Others told about different creatures, how they lived, drawings of how they looked, and about how they functioned. Unfortunately, many of them also told about how to kill them, which I didn't really like but I understood how the information must’ve been useful back when you needed to defend yourself from them. We’re protected now, the borders and the guards as well as having emerged into human society. I dragged my hands over a few dusty books and sighed. I didn’t even know where to begin. Which shelf? Color? Which of the hundred books would tell me what I needed to know?

Major Dylan watched horrified as his students charged at the water clone. Leon created dozens of his own which dog piled the Aidan water clone. Sophia, Zain, and the real Leon ran around the wiggling mass of magic clones and shot towards the real Aidan holding him captive.

“Yes, he needs us. For now. What happens to us when he no longer needs us??? What have you gotten us into?!!!” Before I could say anything, several Lycan knights – dressed in black head to toe, appeared. In the light, their armor glistened with SCALES???? What was that???. These looked like dragon scales. Is the Dark Lord working with dragons??? And if so, does First Dragon know of this??? The knights, whose faces I could not see, looked extremely intimidating. I could not tell if they were all male warriors, as most looked almost identical. Standing over 6.5 feet, their long muscular bodies were adorned with various swords and daggers, some other interesting weapons I had never seen. Each h
