A pair of fist-sized eyes glistened upon staring at the silhouette that was standing near the fireplace. Upon the mention of the young lady, the unbothered look of the man changed into one hundred eighty degrees in a matter of split-second. “What happened?” A sinister pair of glowing emerald orbs looked down at the sweating goblin that seemingly stopped breathing upon meeting the eyes of his master—the demon lord that controlled the darkness of the three worlds. “Th-The second game of the Tri-World Tournament is held today and of course since the young lady said that she did not join any game in the duration of the month-long tournament, I, Gakusho persuaded the great grand duke of the – ”

Maya's pov “You should come,” Benta whines as I close the locker, fixing my jacket. “Yeah, you came back and have been working nonstop, you need to have some fun,” Liv adds, swaying her hips. Going to a club and dancing the night away with strangers seemed like the perfect solution to that. “Yeah,” I told her, “That sounds like a lot of fun.”
