The Galactic Harvester wasn't a ship in the traditional sense; it was a Negative-Pressure Bore, a crystalline structure five miles wide that hung in the upper mesosphere like a hungry ghost. It didn't fire lasers or drop soldiers. Instead, it began to hum at a frequency that tuned specifically to the Molecular Resonance of the Indigo Slurry in the Citadel’s tanks. "They aren't here to kill us," Kael whispered, his violet eye twitching as he watched the Harvester’s intake manifold begin to glow. "They’re here to 'De-clutter' the planet. To them, the Quenched in our basement are just Unclaimed Assets."

There were dozens of young wolves fighting with experienced commanders. Farther ahead stood a large building surrounded by herbs and healing plants. "Our healing center." I saw many omegas carrying baskets of medicinal leaves. "They've been working nonstop because of the illness," Xander explained quietly. Sadness crossed his face.

Hutton blurted out, with anger written all over his face.

“Hello, I’m Samuel Grant.” His voice was not loud, but it traveled clearly to every corner, like cold water falling on stone.
