Jane Jenkins (POV) Two weeks later, I knocked on my sister’s bedroom door. She opened it to find a teary-eyed me. The moment she saw me, I flew into her arms. She stood there and let me cry while rubbing my back, giving me comfort. Once my sobbing slowed down, she led me to the sitting area and sat me down on the couch and she sat next to me. She handed me a Kleenex to wipe my eyes. “Is this about Lucas? What did he do this time? And please don’t tell me he was with another woman because I would kill him if he caused you that kind of pain.” She said, looking at my distraught face.

But the search was unsuccessful, and he returned to the castle, feeling slightly disappointed. "Ned!" A hoarse female voice broke the silence. Turning with surprise, Ned saw the exquisite woman behind him and ran to embrace her tightly. "Sister Loba, what are you doing here? I knew it was you from the taste of that egg tart. Only you can make something I don't hate," Ned said, slowly releasing her.

I whispered. Her eyes flared, wide and wild—but not scared. No, not her. Defiant. Always fucking defiant. “But you won’t,” she whispered back. “Because I’m Arya’s sister.” I tightened my grip. My whole body trembled with the urge to do something. To 'end' something. But I couldn’t. She was right. She 'was' Arya’s sister. And I hated her for it. I called in my men. “Get the rope.”
