CHAPTER 100 RUBY'S POV The gallery was astounding and Miss Garnet made it even more interesting as she told us the backstory of each painting and picture taken that hung on the walls of the gallery. If I could stay for additional hours, I wouldn't mind because I was captivated. “I see you're really enjoying the walk around the gallery, Miss Sinclair” she began while we stood in front of a picture about nature and I smiled shyly when I saw she noticed. “I can't help but get lost in pictures when I see them, Miss Garnet. They tell stories and most of them make you wish you were in that moment to experience it too” I told her and she smiled while staring at me so closely.

It threw me in fear but I did not express my panic openly, I chested it with the determination to find who it was and every other thing. It was a traditional night so I put on a blue crocheted shirt with big black cargo pants and black loafers. Each student was to wear something that was unique to their lineage and so for me, the only thing that survived with me into Ravenlake academy was the dark brown knitted bracelet my father gave to me. It wasn't an ordinary one, it was an enchanted bracelet that was meant to help me whenever it wished - according to what I was told, but I didn't always wear it. So as soon as I got a room at Ravenlake, I kept it hidden in my wardrobe.
