Gavin Vine Novels & Stories

My father’s kingdom, just like I remembered it …silent, immaculate, soulless. “Same property,” Nina continued. “Security’s tighter than it used to be, but there’s a weakness near the east gate. I have a contact who can stall them long enough for us to get inside.” “Who’s the contact?” I asked. Nina hesitated. “Gavin.” Chloe’s head snapped up. “He’s here?” “He flew in late last night,” Nina said. “He called from the outskirts. Said he’d meet us at the villa.” I leaned against the table, processing that. Gavin had a habit of showing up when the lines between loyalty and recklessness blurred.

Gavin asked them to quit laughing at him. Gavin paused for a while and eventually started off with a question about love , what love is and how one can know he is actually in love. Zayne and Ace were surprised with his question. Zayne replied that Gavin should be the one lecturing them about love and not asking questions on love since he ahs been happily married for five years. Gavin tittered and requested them to give answers to his questions. Zayne and Ace stared at each other again with so much surprise and stared at gavin simultaneously.

He says eventually, noises behind him reveal the blonde girl that Flame was arguing with earlier. “Oh please be Darius’ friend.” She grins, pushing the boy out of the way and extending her hand. “I’m Gale. Gale Winters.” “Cain Harden.” I shake her hand quickly before dropping it and turning to the boy again, attempting to be pleasant when I just want him to get the fuck out of my way. “Darius told me we were going Tree Surfing.”

He said, sticking out his hand. Gavin was just under six feet tall, like the man leading the training. He had well defined muscles, short cropped blondish hair, and a few tattoos. I could tell he’d seen a few fights in the past, but he couldn’t be much older than twenty-five. His blue-green eyes twinkled with laughter as he smiled. If I didn’t know better, I’d think he was an incubus. “Reggie, the sick, chubby concubus.” I winked, taking his hand.

Gavin met her eyes briefly, nodding. Gavin fidgeted by his door, not knowing what to do. Ainar has something important to attend to, he’s left with nothing to do so he figured he’ll just chill in his shack again. Celestine awkwardly cleared her throat. “I actually came here to ask you if you wanted to join me instead?” Gavin finally looked at her, head tilted up as she is so much taller, gathering his courage and fighting the constant urge to look away. He gave her a questioning look.

Gavin Jenkins topped the list, and after doing a little digging, I found he’s done it for years. Rich men have always been a bit of an easy mark for me, and I don’t carry any guilt about it after I get what I want from them. The more I dug up on Gavin, the more intrigued I became. A single father well known in the business world and even more known in the small island town of Craven Cove.

“Though your boyfriend must have had a lot of free time to do all that. What does he do when he isn't a pretend physics enthusiast?” Noah was looking at me — had been since he got here. He was asking me questions about a grown man who was also standing right in front of him and could answer them himself. It was as if he was trying to belittle Gavin. I'd be damned if I let that happen. But unfortunately, I had to first answer this question. I couldn't have Gavin tell Noah his true profession. “Gavin's a private equity managing partner,” I said to Noah. “And my finances are better for it. He gives me solid investment advice.”

Some were his pals, while others were his family. I'm not sure how many individuals we've spoken to at this point since I've lost track, but Gavin's parents are two of the people we haven't yet communicated with. ‘Damn. I still feel apprehensive up until today.’

I whispered. As if his senses came back to him, Devin released Nigel. His eyes were still dark as he watched Nigel open the door and ran out. Before the door could slam, Xavier pulled the door and rushed in. His gaze roamed round my body before he turned to glare at Devin who stood in front of me. "Hello Xavier" Devin said "Or rather, Hello Brother" he smirked

From the expression in his eyes, it seemed like he could see through her clothes. “Sir, there is news...” Gavin’s voice sounded at the door. As soon as he walked in, he took a step back and said, “Um, I saw nothing, so please continue.“ Gavin sounded excited at the thought that his boss had finally regained his senses. So, regardless of if he had a fiancée, it was fine as long as he liked her. “Go ahead.” Luke sat up straight, straightened his clothes, and saw Dexie step aside before calling Gavin.
