So not only do I care about you as a person, I care about you as a professional. I don’t want you to throw away your career, and you’re this close,” he held up his thumb and forefinger, spread an inch, “this close.” He paused, folded his arms and said with as much concern as he could muster, “I want to help, Gav. “Gavin, why are you here?” Lisa said, her tone laced with displeasure. “Little cousin, why can’t I be here?” Gavin asked Lisa, his voice dripping with a mocking innocence. Gavin's pov "Of course, I will help! Fabian will lead a squadron of combatants from Garnet Cave. They will arrive at your pack by sunset. I'll give you my word." "Thank you, Alpha.
