For three generation, the alphas' mate have suffered the same fate, the death of a thousand time have never find its rest. That's why the Pact, in the fourth generation, has to solve the issue that may bring death to the village. That as the Alpha mourned to the death of their mates, they are in deep regrets. Their mate never survive the cruel death; it is a tragedy the villagers will to prevent for the sake of the safety of the entire Alphas community.

I stayed by William Gavin's side for three years and proposed to him three times. He rejected me each time.
