I turn to the owner of the voice to meet a tall man in blue scrubs and a long white coat, blond hair, and green eyes that remind me of a certain green-eyed man, but this man lacks the darkness and allure that my green-eyed man has.

“Hello? Anyone home?” The man asks, snapping his fingers in my face.
“Sorry, you startled me,” I say with a hand over my chest.
“I didn’t mean to,” A white smile spread across his face. “You seemed worried about what they were saying, and I came with a piece of advice. I’m Doctor Lee,” he introduces, his arm stretched out. I take it, shaking it once, but he holds on to me a second longer than expected before letting go.
