Drawing in a deep breath, I sat up straight, straightening my legs. I wiped my tears. “Okay, no more crying,” I said to myself. “Well, grandma. I’m going to fight back now,” I nodded to myself. “I’m going to get my life back. And if I do something horrible…” I paused, eyeing the engraved names on the stone. I frowned. “You’ll forgive me, right Gogo? If I do something terrible, you’ll understand?” I touched the stone, wanting nothing more than to feel her embrace again. As if the Gods are with me, a gentle breeze rustled the leaves around me, the wind blowing my face, drying the tears. I smiled. “Thanks Gogo,” I said smiling.
