Ghost: Grim Reaper Novels & Stories

How did I meet someone like this? How did life happen? I went from hating someone with all my whole heart and being scared of him to falling in love with him and spending time with him. The same beast that we are all scared off. It made me realize that Grim was not a villain. He just misunderstood. The funeral for Ghost feels slow. I stand over his tombstone and build up the guilt inside. Ghost was supposed to take my lead to destroy the secret bases of the Order, but the mole sent by them betrayed him. I let the rain pour down on me as I stare at his name and the titles he's been given: a comrade, a friend, a brother, a Dagger. His grave is in a private field owned by Odin for those who have fallen. I closed my eyes and wished to return to time and save him and Poppy.

“Mini-reunion” Alaister POV, "ALAISTER" I saw a guy who's smiling at me I can't figure out who is he. But his smile is very familiar. "Who are you?" when I tried to touch his face my hand suddenly penetrate. I startled. He's a ghost?? "Alaister...I love you so much Alaister" his voice was cold as ice but at the same time, I find it sweet and scary too. "Wait who are you? And why do I feel the same??" I asked him while still trying to feel his warmth oh fuck he's a ghost Alaister!

Grim was a fun death taker, a complete contradiction. "Do you collect souls Grim," I asked curiously and he chuckled. "Nope, I'm only in charge of many others that do, hundreds of thousands of reapers," he stated solemnly and I nodded my head. "Must be tedious having to deal with so many reapers," I scowled and he shrugged. "They all are very dependable, I have no complaints, plus I have lots of down time that I now get to spend with you," he said softly. I glanced at him and smiled.

Grimkeeper continued, stepping closer. "Before the first heartbeat echoed through a living chest, before the first wolf howled beneath the moon, I existed. I was the last breath of dying stars, the final whisper of fallen kings. The first to kill. The first to bury. They called me by many names—Ankou, Thanatos, Osiris, Ghede—but I simply call myself... Grimkeeper." He turned to Steve then, eyes like burning moons. “Do you still believe you are enough for my daughter?”

*** I could see a spirit filled with thick black raindrops and it was very angry. This spirit was trying to hurt a human, But the spirit suddenly vanished in front of me after I walked through it. I was holding a scythe when I walked near the human. Then I... *** “Ahh shit! what's wrong with my head today?” I mumbled. My head was really in pain while thinking about those memories that suddenly showed up. “Why am I holding a scythe anyway?” “What am I?” “A grim reaper--?” My eyes suddenly widened. It feels like everything that I have dreamed about makes sense. My memories suddenly came back.

“We can’t bring death into the waking world… it upsets the balance.” He let out a dry, humorless chuckle before shaking his head. “That’s probably why they noticed my presence so quickly. My appearance alone must have set off alarms.” He leaned back against the booth, fingers drumming against the plastic bottle, his thoughts seemingly tangled. “He must have recognized me from the faction under Lilith. Grim reapers don’t just collect human souls; they also deliver demons back to where they belong. I forgot about him… I should have known better.”

I ate and listened to him. "Within the Death Ministry, only Grim can enter. There are only two types of grim that are the Council and the Reapers. The Grim Council are the ones who bring death notes from superiors to be sent to Grim Reapers like me, where we have to fetch the soul of the person written there. When we do not get them at the right time and place, they can escape and just add to the missing souls. In 40 days we should reap them otherwise they will be like the lost soul you saw yesterday.
