Everyone in the room tensed until the light disappeared. Leila closed the laptop with a soft click. “Ghost protocol is active,” she said. “No signals in. No signals out unless absolutely necessary. We become invisible.” Joel nodded, but his gaze lingered on each of them a second longer than usual. “Then let’s stay that way. Because the Invisible Hunter? It’s already looking for us.”

But your mother's about to die—I know you'll show up. Her words jolted me back to reality. I pressed a hand to my chest, where my heart ached with a dull, numbing pain. How I wished I could tell her myself. That I've been here all along. It's just that... I've been dead for four years.

Third-Person POV The vicious comments online terrified Grace. She stayed locked inside for days before finally running to Richard in tears. "Everyone online is attacking me. Some people are even threatening to kill me. I'm scared." She threw herself into his arms, sobbing. "Maybe this is God's punishment. Why did you slander Chloe online?" Grace went still. Instead of comfort, he'd accused her coldly. "No, that's not true. I didn't slander her. David said Chloe didn't like him..."

I am here to provide the Final Edit." The Ghost raised a hand, and the "Sovereign Static" began to Solidify. The lavender fog turned into Iron-Hard Lines of Text that wrapped around the villagers, pinning them to the ground with the weight of their own pasts.

"The 'Global Hunt'. The 'Public Testimony'. It was all a stress test. A narrative loop to harvest your creativity." I look at Alex. He is flickering. "We're ghosts," I whisper. "We're just digital ghosts dreaming we're alive." "Not ghosts," Evelyn corrects. "Processors. And I have so much more work for you to do." The white void turns black. And the cycle begins again.

No,” the kid laughed, standing up. “I’m the Ghostwriter. The Author hired me when she was too tired to finish your story. I’ve been keeping you alive while the Board tried to delete everything.”

"She definitely has plans up her sleeves" Antonio crushed out his cigar in a crystal ashtray, “Palooka! That’s the difference between hunters and ghosts, Grinch—hunters chase, therefore making the worst mistakes when they think they've won—But ghosts? Ghosts erase.” Picking up his glass, He circled to his desk, where a file lay open—a photograph of John paper-clipped to a set of blueprints.

I felt I needed to learn more about communicating with ghosts and all that, so I decided to watch some of what Trisha had called the pros. I’d noticed that YouTube ghost hunters talked a lot about one Brandon Price, leader of a team called Haunters, like he was the grandfather of paranormal investigation, even over the Warrens and Hans Holzer. A quick search taught me that even though Haunters hadn’t been among the pioneers of that particular TV niche, they already had nine seasons and counting. And they were considered the best of the best.

He stood up and walked to where he used to out his books, he took a small but old looking book and came back to where he was sitting, next to me. "I read it in this book , there is a certain theory which say that people might have ghost clones, these clones looks and dresses exactly like the original you and they can do anything you can do. Sometimes if you are lucky you can have a good clone but if you are unlucky you are likely to have a bad and evil clone , which means you are unlucky because yours is evil" he explained. His explanation shocked me , i have never heard such things and I've never believed in ghost theories.
