GHOSTING MY SHADOW

“Oh, miss we are supposed to go to the church but it’s getting late and we can’t wake your parents to ask for permission.’’ Mercy permitted them. When her parents woke up they realized, Amanda and her mother were missing but the house was sparkling clean, Melina thought they had quit their job. Melina panicked and went upstairs shouting, calling out for her husband, she asked him if he knew where the maids had gone. While they were still arguing mercy walked in and told them she had released them to go to church. this made Owino even happier, knowing that they were religious. ‘They are S.D.A’s, Owino got more suspicious of them, the girl I met years back was also an S.D.A, he recalled her ca

He paused for a while before asking, "Do you?" She shook her head and said, "I don't." She didn't believe in ghosts, and if she didn't see what she saw earlier, she wouldn't either. He stepped towards her and pulled her closer to himself. "Sometimes our minds play tricks on us and make us believe what we are seeing are things, but as far as supernatural beings are concerned, ghosts aren't real. There have been no records of them since the beginning of time." She sighed. Perhaps he was right; perhaps she was imagining things. She thought she was already past that, and the hallucinations were over. She was wrong.

I'm finally giving a book 5 stars. the reason is that the story is absolutely amazing! it's so captivating, and I literally fall asleep reading it because I don't want to put it down. there are several grammatical errors, but it does not take away from the book. Harvard to stanford? not good though

So far this is one of the best books I’ve read on this app, the writer is so wonderfully involved welcoming ideas and comments. Which in my opinion shows how much she appreciates her readers. The amount of descriptiveness, information and detail really helps you visualize what your reading. Thanx!!

Whispers of the Devil

Whispers of the Devil

Bella Moondragonimpregnating my mom
“And… When Layla started working there, I felt that feeling even more. Like I wasn’t ever alone. Like I could look over my shoulder and find someone–something watching me from afar.” “What did that feel like to you?” Helen asks calmly. “That’s an odd question.” I chuckle, shrugging. “I guess… it didn’t feel threatening. Maybe… bored curiosity? That changed, though, when all the weird things started happening to Layla, and when we found out what Vera was doing to Miss Penny it got worse.” Chills erupt all over my skin. I shake them away. “Do you believe in ghosts, Helen?” “Oh, of course. You can’t live in the deep south without holding some belief about the spirits that linger here.”

I say , not having a clue what she'd choose . I wonder what's so special about this place . How come ghosts can communicate through here but not anywhere else? Are there other similar places to this ? This is all so new and interesting to me . I wish someone had the answers to satisfy my curiosity . I used to think ghosts weren't real , despite being immersed in the supernatural world myself . I used to believe in the research that humans fed us on ghosts . But then again , it's ridiculous to believe those things . Humans don't know much .

His Only Hope

His Only Hope

I was completely in awe as I watched myself call out a chant that made lightening roll through that black cloud, before black ashes began floating to the ground like black snow. The Vampires would then help me get the unconscious humans to a hospital where my mother and the other witches would care for them and heal their bodies. Only, not every human survived the possessions. If a demon took control for too long, or depending on the demon's power level, the human vessel wouldn't always pull through. The human doctors at the hospital called the illness "yellow fever" but us supernaturals knew the truth and did everything in our power to help the humans recover and survive after their possess

The Gift and the Ghoul

The Gift and the Ghoul

With a click, the clasp came undone, and the pendant fell to the floor. In a flash, Zoe’s eyes widened. She grabbed my collar like a madwoman. “Y-You… You didn’t switch fates? You lied to me?!” I looked at her in surprise. “What are you talking about?” Miles suddenly exclaimed, “Ow, Maisie. My neck feels itchy.” He pulled down his collar, exposing his collarbone, and clearly revealed who was actually wearing the demonic fate-swapping lock.

Field Team 42: Paranormal Responders

Not even close. X’s mouth twitched at the corner, the kind of smile that never quite reached his eyes. “You could say we’re like the Ghostbusters, something like that. In fact, we're honored to be called when 'something strange is in the neighborhood'.” Then X looked at me. “Carl, this reminds me of that job offer I made to you in St. Louis when we first met. Skinwalker lore is a specialty of yours. Looks like you're about to see a real one up close.” X turned again to Pastor Brooks. “ You see, Pastor, we deal with things that go bump in the night on a whole different level.”

The Ghost in His Mirror

The Ghost in His Mirror

He walked onto the stage and reached out, trying to shake my hand, pretending to be a magnanimous veteran. "Congratulations. Lucky race, kid." He spoke through clenched teeth in a low voice. I looked at his hand suspended in the air and didn't move. I walked straight past him to the host and took the microphone from his hand. Then I turned and aimed the microphone at the live broadcast cameras. "Today, I'm standing here not only because of luck." My voice passed through the massive speakers, spreading across the entire circuit and into the livestream. The whole place went quiet. Everyone sensed that something was wrong.
