“I’m sorry, Liam. I don’t know how to sense them because I’ve never seen a ghoul before.” “Damn it,” Liam mutters under his breath, tightening his grip on my shoulder. “We need to get out of here. Fast.” Before I can even process what Liam is saying, the ghouls appear out of nowhere. Their ghostly figures seem to appear and disappear almost like a mirage, and their shrieking fills the air. Fear takes over me, especially when I hear a voice inside of my head say, ‘Purple-eyed wolf. I want to feast on your blood and take your powers!’

Those who had discovered the truth were swiftly silenced, their secrets dying with them. The rumors about The Ghost were the stuff of criminal legend. They said he could walk through walls, that he had spies in every major organization, that he could make people disappear without a trace. Some said he wasn't human at all, but a vengeful spirit who had returned from the dead to punish the wicked. Victor did nothing to discourage these tales—in fact, he cultivated them.

He decided to wait for them till they returned. Cold breeze danced about in the car making goosebumps fill his body, he began to shiver in fear and his breathing was unusually fast. He felt a hand touch his back, his eyes widened and he froze then he turned around to see who touched him but he saw no One. He was nervous, he knew the car wasn't safe anymore, he knew he had to step out of the car. He was still contemplating whether to leave now or not when the car opened and a ghost appeared at him then disappeared almost immediately. He screamed, the sight was too terrifying to see, the ghost then stretched it's skeleton hands forward to get him but it's hands didn't reach him. Mr Wellspring

I spent the next few days learning the purpose of and how to use the equipment that Nora had purchased in preparation for our taking on the paranormal. I found it both interesting and frustrating. There were gadgets for almost everything one might imagine, such as electromagnetic detectors and thermometers. Apparently, ghosts use electricity to help them manifest and, when they do, the temperature in the room will change even if you can’t see them. Being a skeptic at heart, I found the equipment both interesting and amusing.

Blood covered the walls the night my best friend, Cody Colfax, was murdered. His body twisted and twitched before my eyes, like a fish out of water splashing around on a boardwalk without anyone to put him back. The possession of his body from the unknown source, the scientists call 'The Ghost,' has haunted the bystanders for weeks now. When we found him, his body was half-naked and covered in ashes. The hairs on his arms were fried by the electrical chords wrapped around his arms. The tattoos on his body were symbolic, otherworldly. The Ghost left them there to make their presence known.

I pushed it down a little and slowly opened my eyes to see if the ghost was gone from the screen, and I was relieved to see what I was looking for. There was silence all around, and the ghost was no longer visible, but I kept the blanket to my nose because I now have trust issues and can't predict when the ghost will appear again, scaring me to death. I have noticed that they appear after the silence with horror faces and ear-piercing screams. My chest was pounding in anticipation, and I was looking forward to the scene when I felt a hand on my shoulder, causing me to drop the blanket and shriek in complete terror.

Just poured himself a coffee, black and bitter, and leaned against the counter like the weight of the building could hold him steady. Ghost appeared like he always did, silent and sudden, leaning in the doorway with a cigarette burning low. His pale eyes cut across the room, landing on Rhett, steady and unblinking. “You didn’t sleep,” Ghost said. Not a question. A fact. Rhett took a swallow of coffee that burned all the way down. “Didn’t need to.”

Skyler screeched to a halt, her face pale in terror. "Nom… Young girls taste the best." Ghost was licking the blood off his lips as he threw the corpse he had been holding with just one hand and grinned viciously. It was a girl just around seventeen, her expression frozen eternally in death after Ghost chewed through her throat. Seeing that she was not getting away, Skyler decided to talk and try to buy time. "Don't you see?! The power of the spiritron vein has consumed you!" That only left Ghost glowering. "And that's because your boss Torrent pushed me this far!"

The sight I saw is what already has, and what will haunt my slumbering hours for the rest of my life. The first thing I noticed were the dark pools of color across the sheets, illuminated by the moonlight trickling in from the window. Blood. There was blood EVERYWHERE.
