Detective Sean opened the door of the underground basement, he cringed, seeing the sight before him. Making him retreats his footsteps. The twenty years he had been working as a detective and the the thirty five years he had spent in this town. He hadn’t seen a thing as this. Blood was was all over the wall. There was a writing in blood as well. ‘Don’t look for me, look for me you die.’ It did give him chills. The forensic department were there, running a test on the items on basement. But he couldn’t see them at the moment, the only thing he saw was the blood on the wall. He couldn’t seem to get his eyes off it.

After I cleaned up I sent for my second and third in command, we have a meeting and I tell them about what the Moon Goddess had said to me, they both looked some what relieved after hearing I will be calling off the battle and waiting instead for this Mystic being to find me and go form there, they took particular reverence in the bit about our generations being cursed for spilling the blood of innocents, sigh so let the waiting begin. Left side is all the nonfiction, biographies, and so on.” Faith chuckled.

He looked up with that easy grin, holding out a muffin like a peace offering. “You look like hell,” he said. “Didn’t sleep much,” I muttered, taking it anyway. He watched me for a second too long, worry creasing his brow. I wanted to tell him. About the whispers in the dark. About Damien’s hand on my jaw. About how his voice lingered in my head, calling me mine. But the words stuck in my throat. And then, as if summoned by my silence, the air shifted. The lecture hall fell quiet, a ripple of tension spreading through the rows. I didn’t need to look up. I knew.

Each volume of Strange short stories will have 3 medium-sized stories and about 10 short stories. The room seemed to him like the perfect bedroom any creative person would love to have. “It’s a really nice room, I like it” Cummins said as he swept his eyes around the room. “Leah likes writing in the room when we have no guests, she says that staring out at the lake and watching the farmers at work helps her think, and she’s most creative when she writes here, that’s why we have the desk close to the window” Harry said. “That’s really nice, what does she write about?” Cummins said. “Ooh well she writes science fiction mostly, and she sometimes write historical fiction too” Harry said.
