They were beheaded by the giant shadow in the sky that swooped in and attacked them. "Koby! Zane!” Padraig yelled, but life had left the two bodies. "Noooooooo!!!" he screamed in despair. Padraig looked up and saw a giant being soaring through the air. It was an unknown bird-type monster, with razor-sharp claws and wings that spanned about eight meters when opened.

This is something else I know nothing about and it would all be much easier if I had a way to get answers. I continue flying and notice two large shapes looming in the distance. They're dragons. As I draw closer, I see the larger one is red and the smaller blue. I believe the red dragon is the young one who came with his parents two weeks ago and wanted to know what made me so special. Perfect. They turn their attention my way and follow me as I head for a large field below me to land.

“You’re back!” Sky chuckled, bracing himself as Lucas tackled him in a hug. “Easy there, buddy,” Sky said, ruffling Lucas’s hair. “You’ve grown.” Lucas was tall for his age, though not quite as towering as his older brother, Skyler. Slightly lankier in build, he still possessed a natural athleticism reminiscent of Sky. His longer, lighter blonde hair set him apart, cascading in soft waves that caught the light. While his facial features echoed those of Skyler, they carried a youthful, boyish charm, highlighting his age of just 18.

The immense weight of the energy crushed the void, causing the surrounding sky to tremble. "Sky-Soil Heptagold Sword Energy!" Severin yelled as he slashed the sword. And that's where I see them. Not one. Not two. A full escort. Guards line the edges of the clearing, positioned like they're expecting a threat. Or transporting one. In the center waits the transport—dark, reinforced, built more like a moving cage than anything meant for comfort. Thick iron bands run along its sides, and hitched to it— Not horses. Massive ironclad dragons. Their eyes glow faintly, unnatural and sharp, smoke curling from their nostrils as they shift restlessly against their restraints.

It lunged. Sky went under it. The move was so swift and clean that it took a moment to process. Sky dropped low, driving upward from beneath, using the creature's own momentum against it. The massive beast crashed to the ground on the other side of her, shaking the clearing, and didn't get up with anything near the speed it went down.

She comes around the side of my desk so she’s facing me as she lifts herself up to sit on the edge of the large mahogany piece of furniture. “Hello, my love.” She returns my term of endearment with her sweet smile calming my somewhat frazzled nerves.
