We can see it all the way from the sky! I move the copter to the top of the hotel. I speak to control over the headphone, piloting the plane to the top of the hotel. “We are here!” I say, setting the bird down. ~AVERY'S POV~ Someone from the hotel, the manager, is waiting for us when we step out of the copter. He is wearing a well-tailored suit with the hotel's name, ONYX, on it. He shakes Gideon's hand firmly. “Welcome back sir! We got your message ahead of time so we have your dinner ready. Unfortunately, our private rooms are completely booked out.”

It was the same design as Gideon's hotel room bathroom, just that the shower curtain is different. “Hold on” I smiled, “You are staying in the same hotel as Gideon and the team, They have a game in Kentucky tonight.” I said excitedly. “Oh…I didn't know that. All I knew is that I am staying at a Good hotel in Kentucky” She chuckled, it was lower and weird than her usual chuckle. Then a mischievous smile appeared on her face, “Have you and your boyfriend been…naughty. Huh? Having face time in the shower” she teased.

Then I said it. “The hotel is giving some staff rooms now,” I said. “So I’ll be staying there for a while.” He looked at me carefully. “Really?” I nodded quickly. “It’ll make work easier,” I added. He was quiet for a moment. Then he sighed. “If it’s better for you,” he said. Relief washed over me immediately. “Yeah, it is.” He nodded. “Alright then.” I smiled slightly. “I’ll come visit,” I added. “You better,” he said with a small smile. I hugged him quickly before leaving. When I got back into the car, Tristan didn’t say anything. Neither did I.

Theo stretched out his hand to greet Wayne and said, “Please help me arrange a premium suite for Mr. Clarke to stay in.” Wayne quickly responded, “Sure, Mr. Theo. I’ll make arrangements right away.” Since Theo had spoken, Wayne would naturally fulfill his request. At the same time, he also found out that the other party’s last name was Clarke. “I didn't know what my mother was going to say at that conference today. You have to believe me.” I didn't move. I didn't let him into the living room. I stayed right where I was, crossing my arms over my chest. “And yet, you stood there. You watched her do it. You didn't say a word.” “She didn't tell me what the plan was!” Barnabas stepped closer, smelling like stale alcohol and expensive cologne. “I woke up with a massive hangover. I didn't even have my phone on me. Gideon had to come to the hotel and drag me out of bed. By the time I saw the news, the clips were already everywhere. It was too late.”

Now she thinks this man could read her mind and soul too. Then again, she reminded herself of how handsome Gideon Vesarius is. He’s truly blessed—above anyone! Few minutes had passed, and Gideon drove into a hotel driveway. They’re not even inside yet but she could already see the huge name of the hotel. Almeradez Hotel is the name written at the top of the building. It’s extremely high! The valet immediately rushed to open their door when Gideon took a stop in front of the hotel’s entrance. The man asked Gideon for the car keys and presented himself to park the car for him.
