I Transmigrated Back To A Book For Revenge

I Transmigrated Back To A Book For Revenge

Lydia’s voice was calm, but every word was as sharp as a knife’s edge. “You stole his work and had him locked up in a mental hospital. He died unjustly. “Moon, you’re not only foolish but also cruel. If the Sterling family stays in your hands, it’ll be destroyed.” She stood up and looked down at Moon. “Oh, one more thing… “Mr. Quincy Miller has the digital copy of the proposal. “He asked me to pass on a message to you. “He said, ‘How do you like the second gift?’”

Panic Room

Panic Room

Emmett was my scapegoat, and I needed as many unsuspecting allies as I could get in this place filled with men who wished to see me burn again. I moved into the reading room, inspecting the books and looking for hidden doorways. But came up empty. "Find anything?" Gideon's voice, husky and full of sleep, sounded from the entranceway, startling me. I spun around; my hand pressed against my racing heart. I knocked over a vase of flowers in the process, and the sound of breaking glass filled the study. "You scared me. What are you doing up?" Gideon stepped into the room, the light of the moon reflecting off his tan skin showing off his muscular chest and toned abs. Black boxers hugged his muscu

You Shot Your Own Grandmother, Alpha Heir

You Shot Your Own Grandmother, Alpha Heir

He sat on a rock, clutching something tightly in his hand. I looked closer. It was a moonstone ring. Gideon's engagement gift to me. I unfolded the letter. Conrad's handwriting filled the page. Cora, I know you may not want to hear from me, but I felt you had a right to know. First, I am truly sorry for the crimes my son committed. Gideon has been exiled permanently. He now wanders the northern wilds. The last person who saw him said he looked like a ghost. The only thing he carries with him is the ring he once gave you.

The Debt Collectors Bride

The Debt Collectors Bride

I didn't jump or look up. "I'm fine," I said, even though I wasn't sure if it was true. The person on the other side didn't push. They left me alone. I looked back down at the papers. One document kept calling to me. It was a secret log from twelve years ago. I’d seen it before and ignored it, but now I read it word for word. The names were in code and the locations were blurry, but one thing was crystal clear: Gideon had been looking for help long before Black Tide made their final move. He didn't go to the police. He didn't go to friends. He went to someone who lived outside the law.

Alpha's Assassin

’ Gideon asks, his wolf nudges a small shelf lined with books that all look handwritten, the pages are yellowing telling me it's old and when I pick up one of the copies I find the pages greasey like it's been handled too many times. ‘The Holy Bible: How God wants a pure world.’ I read for Gideon; it's hard to keep the disgust out of my voice, of course God has been dragged into this. Look at any point in human history and you will find religion as the reason why men hurt others. I holster my gun; knowing Gideon is standing guard allows me to flick through the Bible without care for my surroundings. The first page is all about how God created the world, nothing I haven’t read in an old Bible

No Way to Win Me Back

No Way to Win Me Back

The moment I step off the elevator, I see Rachel bent over a tray of stones, loupe pressed to her eye, eyebrows drawn in concentration. Ryan stands beside her, flipping through a stack of Beaumont contract revisions, glasses perched on the bridge of his nose the way he wears them when he’s trying very, very hard not to be annoyed at legal language. And Gideon— Gideon is at his bench, phone in one hand, polishing cloth in the other. The glow on his face isn’t from the task. It’s from whatever he’s reading, because as soon as he senses me walking in, he drops the phone like it burned him and straightens.

Just Got Lucky (BOOK 1)

Just Got Lucky (BOOK 1)

I can’t stop thinking that the person who sent the gift could have some bad intentions towards me and my baby. There’s always this constant worry and fear in the back of my head wherever I go. After class, I decided to head to the library one afternoon to look for a certain book that was needed for my lesson the following day. I spent almost thirty minutes in there trying to look for the book and doing some research which was going to be submitted in three days. I tried to focus on my studies and ignore the bugging thoughts about Jolene.

Falling For My Devil CEO Husband

"You can never, Gideon." He ignored what I said. He even smiled. "Anyway, they're on the couch. I just hope you like them enough to not throw them away." When Gideon left me to prepare for his therapy session, I went to the living room. My lips parted when I saw the things he was talking about. On the couch was a paper bag of books. "Oh!" I muttered as I checked the bag. He got me an editor's collection of fantasy romance novels. There were also at least three pieces of sketch pads and pencils there.

His Silent Luna

His Silent Luna

I only saw him when he was with Nora. Gideon talked about training, his duties, and about the books he was reading. He gave Nora much more detail about the books than he did his training or any other duties. I guess he thought she’d find the books more interesting. I dutifully kept mental notes on everything they said. Honestly, I was relieved. It was all just mundane, simple things. I couldn’t imagine any way Prince Marcus could do harm with a summary of Prince Gideon’s favorite adventure novel. During the day, I spent my time at Nora’s side. I sat beside her while she read books on court procedure and the proper forms of address for various nobles. I helped her practice various greetings s

“I’m still waiting for some of it, but I think I’m finally on the right track.” “I figured as much,” he releases the book into my hands. “You can keep this for now, until you start one of your own. That will be your first assignment tomorrow in class.” “Is this some strange family heirloom as well,” I smile at him before closing the book, leaving the bookmark resting on the spell we just encountered. “Will I face some kind of dire consequence if it goes missing?” “No,” Gideon laughs. “I bought that journal at the supermarket because I liked the cover. If it goes missing it’s easy enough to make a new one, although you’ll regret having to research all those missing spells without a copy to st

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm assuming we're talking about the science fiction series by a certain author. If that's the case, you're in for a ride. Their debut novel, 'Gideon the Ninth', is absolutely where you jump in. It's the first of the Locked Tomb series and really the only logical entry point.

I'll be real, the first hundred pages can feel like being thrown into the deep end. You've got all these necromancers and their knights with these bizarre bone magic terms and a Gothic space castle setting. It's confusing on purpose, I think, to mirror the main character's own fish-out-of-water perspective. Once you accept you're not meant to understand everything immediately, the wild plot and that incredible, snarling dynamic between Gideon and Harrow just pulls you through. Starting anywhere else would ruin the mystery.

Honestly, if you bounce off 'Gideon the Ninth', the rest of the series probably isn't for you anyway. It sets the tone for everything that follows.
