A faint hiss sounded as the seal unlatched. Slowly, deliberately, she pulled it off. And the room stopped. Dark waves of longer hair spilled over her shoulders, but that wasn’t what made Luca’s stomach turn. It was the scarred ruin of her left cheek. Skin that had once been flawless was now mottled with burns, the angry, uneven texture a brutal reminder of the explosion that had supposedly ended her life. Gina. Luca stared. His mind rejected it. Hell, you could see where her skin had been pulled and she was hung by it. I wanted to throw up. Not from how it looked but the sheer about of pain she had been through. The fact that she was only nineteen blared in the back of my head. All this, in such a short amount of years.

Glass pieces pierced her bare long legs and palms as she fell on her left side. Everyone that came out of the protection of their shells aka their chambers dauntingly spectated her fall with striking terror. They didn't dare to come ahead and help Ginny when blood spread around her, gushing through the cuts she incurred on her bare flesh. They quietly froze in their spot with breaths stuck in their chests until Alpha Damien cried, "I will bury each one of you whoever is involved in this scheme if anything happens to her or my baby." They trembled in pure horror.
