I rub my face with irritation, not at all having the patience for story hour. “Get to the point,” my mom shouts, making me crack a smile. Always the spitfire. I thought that’s what I was getting with Dakota, and probably one of the biggest reasons I fought so damn hard to win her over. I need a female with fire, with heat and grit. Someone who doesn’t back down. But one fucking pretty boy comes along and makes eyes at her… I look down at my hands and they are in solid fists. The would guys often 'mistakenly' smashed the ball her way. She was finally able to convince everyone of her abilities when she beat them up one by one using the ball. She always treated others the same way they treated her. She was much ruthless in her revenge. The guys might still hold back some force since she was a girl, but Mira didn't. Me, a person, who is a girl, even quite younger than you, who has already less in stamina against you," I replied confidently. He needs to learn how to respect a woman.

They had no choice but to be calm in the presence of such power. Moira’s gray eyes stared into hers, and Luna found herself hit with a mental punch to the gut from the force of power in the eyes staring at her. And Luna knew all the magazines and newspapers hadn’t been lying when they said Moira Lake was a ‘powerful woman’, she literally carried the power in every inch of her body.

Darana says in a rush of breath, holding her hand out for me to take. Turning around, I rush to her side, clasping her hand in mine, and the three of us females help to guide the shuttle onto the lawn safely. The three of us were born with a source of energy that was passed down to us from our mother. But it is only I that can use it without needing the help of my sisters unless it requires more energy than my core can produce. Together, we are known as the ‘Power Of Three’ and I personally enjoy exploring our gifts together; pushing our boundaries as one. It makes me feel like their equal even though I don’t need their source of energy as much as they require mine.
