On the other side, her clothes were lined up from casuals to workwear to night-out outfits.
“I love it,” I said, turning to her. “This place already feels like you.”
“I still want to hang a few framed quotes on the wall, though. Like, ‘Strong girls don’t cry, they buy heels.’”
We both laughed.
“I’m adding that to your office wall,” I said.
“Only if you add ‘Coffee first, chaos later’ to yours,” she replied, poking me gently in the side.
We headed back downstairs, and I went to check the fridge.
