Gemma grumbled, her cheeks burning as she crossed her arms over her chest.
“You do not,” Freddy insisted, ignoring her embarrassment. She shut the wardrobe door, then grabbed Gemma by the shoulders and steered her to stand squarely in front of the mirror on the back of their door.
“You, my friend, are a country knockout.”
“Now we have your outfit for Saturday sorted,” Freddy announced, diving back into the seemingly bottomless tote bag. “And now for mine.”
With a dramatic flourish, she pulled out a flowy, aggressively glittery tank top—one hundred percent Freddy—a sleek black mini skirt, and a pair of black suede slouch boots.
