Did Someone Say Taboo? (Short Story Collection)

Did Someone Say Taboo? (Short Story Collection)

Shane narrows his eyes at me and says. "Don't make me keep you locked up here with me all summer." I laugh. "I wouldn't mind. I love spending time with you." I say, giving him a big smile. Shane just stares at me. I can tell he doesn't have a clue what to say. Lucky for him his phone rings, giving him an excuse to get out of this conversation. He glances at the screen and then up at me. "Hello." He says into the phone, keeping his eyes on me.

Alpha's Rejected Bride: Claimed by the Ruthless King

Alpha's Rejected Bride: Claimed by the Ruthless King

"It’s biometric and encrypted. Unless he forces my thumb onto the scanner, he only sees what’s on the lock screen." "And what’s on the lock screen?" Deluca’s voice was a low, dangerous rumble. Nora swallowed hard, the back of her throat dry. She remembered the scheduled reminder she had set for 5:00 PM. A simple, automated notification from her nanny. 'The little ones are fed and in bed. They miss you.' She looked up at the antique clock on the hallway wall. The hands pointed exactly to 5:04 PM. "Oh god," she breathed, her hand slipping from his arm. "The notification. It already popped up."

"Time you had the opportunity to work." Her fingers were all the while shaking as Lannie tapped her own PIN into the gadget, affirming the booking and the room. "It'll be a delight," she turned upward with an apprehensive little grin and painstakingly pulled herself dependent upon her feet. "Right, um, this way..." ~End~ Author’s Note: Next Story "Unselfish Love”

And looked at everyone, "Told you my friends are waiting for me. Let me out." Looking through glass acts as a touch screen on electronic devices. When Mrtyu found two men in suits talking to each other in the garden area, she touched the glass. She was surprised to watch their conversation in zoomed view as if she was hearing their conversation with them. "That’s Mr Alex and (her green eyes sharpened) Ron."

It's a very developing novel, the more we dive in, the more the story gets interesting and intriguing. I love the characters, and it really portrays a lot of parts of the novel. The story is overall smooth and in place. I also loved the soft smooth developed work of the author, it melts my heart.

What an amazing story with ghost romance.. The author just shown the plot rather writing it. The first chapter, the opening poem and the very intriguing blurb - it hooked me, totally recommending this story.

Some chapters are messed up. Apologies and I’m already working on fixing it. Do skip Chapter 86 till Chapter 89. They’re replicas and I would not like you wasting your money. I will update when the chapters are fixed.

Tutor My Heart

Its lock screen pops on, with an image flashing against my sight. My eyes squint, furrowing my brows as I take in an illustration of young smiling faces. It takes a moment to have my attention, realise the sketch visibly parading itself, against my sight. I feel my awareness come back on as I realise it's a sketch of me and Leo smiling broadly through the screen. Our hands are lifted smiling through the selfie. The day comes to mind, a smile flashing through my cheeks as I recall. I feel his eyes stinging at me, but I don't care, as I let myself slip over a fond memory, which stares right into my gaze.

Divorce didn't make me your ex

"Isn't it? Tell me where you bought it later." I nodded and picked up my phone to see the name of the place I had randomly chosen. "Hey, is that me?" she asked, pointing at the phone. I didn't try to hide it. I turned the screen toward her for a better look. It was a photo from the night before; she was turned away, looking at a painting in the gallery, the white dress shining under the light. Luna was undoubtedly the greatest work of art in the place, which is why I put that image on my lock screen minutes ago.

I Faked My Death to Destroy My Husband

"I am going to tell him you broke it!" "Be quiet!" I hissed at him. I tried the browser. Safari. I tapped the compass icon. A grey screen appeared. Content Restricted. You have reached your daily limit for web browsing. I stared at the screen. The glass felt cold against my fingertips. It was useless. It was a toy. It wasn't a tool. It was a prison, just like this house. I looked at the signal bars in the corner. Full LTE. But the software was locking me out. I needed a passcode. I needed a hack.
