Laura asked. “I tried. But his mom is having surgery and he can't make it.” Chey sighed. Blaine is their 3rd best friend. He's super-hot and hunky, but gay. They work very hard.” With those eyes still directed at me, I hardly noticed the prick of the needles. He laughed and dimples appeared in his cheeks. “I told you to call me Blaine. And Miss Amelia knows I appreciate her very much.”

Blaine scoffed. I could feel the anger bubbling over in my gut at his implication of even touching Daniela. “Blaine….” I huffed, keeping my voice a whisper. “I need to tell you something… come closer.” I barely moved my head to gesture him closer. “It’s hard to speak.” “Oh, this should be good. Here I thought you’d take a little longer to break. So much for being the shining star of the guild.” Blaine laughed, stepping closer. “Go ahead, I’m listening. Spill your guts, scum.”
