I nuzzled his soft cheeks and neck. His delighted shrieks and laughter warmed my heart. “So all your tears are gone now, huh?” I smiled at his sweet giggles. I stared into his gray eyes, thinking how lucky we were that he had inherited my mother’s blonde hair. Ophelia turned away from Blaine’s piercing gray eyes as she heard clear footsteps walking down the hallway toward the boardroom where they all sat. The bitch walked in. She sat at the head of the table, where Kan Sullivan was supposed to sit, right across the table from Blaine.

he gloats through a sarcastic chuckle, “-no wonder why Elijah didn’t want you.” “Oh, boo-hoo,” Aubrey mocks him as she pretends to rub her eyes; trying to appear unaffected by Blaine’s stabbing words, “-get over it. If you cared that much, you wouldn’t have agreed to help out. You want a little piece of the prize just as much as the rest of us do,” she smirks, “-so, get off your high horse. You’re just like me,” she jabs him once more, “-whether you can accept the truth or not.” “Shut it, Aub,” Blaine threatens harshly.

The footsteps were now barreling through the hallway. "Alpha Tate!" I faintly heard Allen yell. "Tate slow down, son," another voice said with more authority, sounding as close as the approaching footsteps. I shared a nervous look with Blaine and Lainee when he was only a few feet away, but immediately put on an emotionless facade when he stared at me through the doorway. He looked a wreck; his brown hair disheveled, his face unshaven, he looks as though he hasn't showered for weeks but yet he still smells fresh and piney- the masculine scent I love. His face brightened at the sight of me and he stepped forward but was stopped when Blaine and Lainee stepped in front of me defensively.

I stared so long it felt like the world narrowed down to two tiny heartbeats. Later, after the nurses left and everything was quieter, Blaine stood in the doorway. I saw him before he could step back into the hall. His eyes were shadowed, darker than I remembered, as if sleep and regret had become his only company. He didn’t say much—just something about the names. Said they were good. He didn’t cry. He didn’t smile either. He just watched, like he was memorizing every detail to carry with him into whatever corner of the forest he was planning to disappear into next.

Blaze didn't simply beat him; he was on the verge of killing him in anger. "What is the matter with him?" Gayle murmured, wiping the blood from his nose. "He didn't hesitate to hit me to the point of bleeding." He stared at him with a squint, trying to figure out what was bothering him. He rose to his feet and walked up to him tentatively. "What is it about Bruno? That man cheated on her. Isn't she supposed to loathe him? Instead, she is missing him." Gayle’s eyes narrowed as he heard him mumble. He sat down beside him at a distance of one arm, fearing that Blaze would hit him again. He wondered who he was talking about.

In the end, he only gritted his teeth and spoke with thinly veiled sarcasm. “You’re really shameless. You just turned eighteen, and you’re already this impatient?” I didn’t care at all. Smiling brightly, I looked at him. “Maddie is my fiancée. Something like this is pretty normal, right? “Besides, I’m full of energy these days. “I can’t exactly spend all that energy… studying, can I?” Blaine froze slightly when he heard that. He understood very clearly. Between the girl and first place in the grade, he could only choose one.

Gilas asked. “I am Matthew and I am also a descendant of Draco Blair.” Matthew said. ‘That has to be why I had a weird feeling about him all this time!’ Pix thought. “Descendant… No wonder your aura felt familiar. Ah!” Gilas then immediately prostrated by placing his head on the ground. “Forgive my Lord! I did not realise that it was you! Blair nodded and glanced at Mable from the corner of his eyes, an icy aura emanating from him. Seeing Blair stare at Mable, Alec introduced, “This is the young lady of Muller Corporation, Mable Jefferson-Muller. Mable, this is the CEO of X Group, Mr. Blair Fowler.” Blair nodded and smiled mockingly. “Are you two... on a date?” Mable put away her smile and looked coldly at Blair. At that moment, there was only one thought in her mind. She wanted him to disappear from her sight. When she looked at him, she would remember all the unhappy things that happened in the past.

Who could be here, at this hour? As I opened the door, I saw Blaine standing there. Not sure if i was hallucinating but it was real. He was standing at my doorstep. He was here to return my wallet that I left in his car. He even expressed his true feeling to me which made me more depressed about this relationship. I breathed openley when he left. I was suffocating in the air of revenge. Before I do something to regret, I have to sort out all this shit. "He will be Adelina's therapist while she continues her out-patient therapy here." As expected, everybody's eyes travelled to scrutinize the physical appearance of the man clad in the blue scrub.
