His Miracle Luna-the Forsaken Lycan Queen

His Miracle Luna-the Forsaken Lycan Queen

Elena’s POV Glenda stared at me with blazing eyes, stomped her foot, and pointed her finger at me. She started screaming in rage, “You–!” Before she could start blabbering about nonsense again, I interrupted her with a sigh and went on, “You’re wasting your time, Glenda. You’ve yet to receive your military punishment.” “Silver whipping, wasn’t it?” I reminded her. “I suggest you prepare for that instead of further embarrassing yourself.”

I reject you, Mr. Alpha

I reject you, Mr. Alpha

“And to answer your question, she is about thirty and even if she was younger, you wouldn’t ever need to worry about her hitting on me. In fact, she would be more interested in you than she would ever be in me.” “Huh?” I asked oh so eloquently. “Glenda bats for the same team as me. She is a lesbian and has no shame in admitting it. And I admire her for her courage.” We supernaturals were old-fashioned, and there were very few who had the courage to admit that they were gay. This Glenda sure had some backbone. I already liked her… “I told you I wasn’t jealous. I was just curious.” “Right.” I knew I wasn’t fooling him with my nonchalant attitude, but he left it at that.

CONTRACTED TO THE BEAST ALPHA

CONTRACTED TO THE BEAST ALPHA

Zora wanted to cry seeing what had become of the woman who had shown her more maternal love than her own mother ever had. "I'm so happy you're safe, my dear child," Glenda whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "I knew he wouldn't let you suffer." Her eyes shifted meaningfully to Trent, filled with gratitude. Then Glenda turned to face Trent directly, her weathered hands reaching out to grasp his. "I told you she was the best you could ever find. Please," her voice broke slightly, "please don't change toward her. Don't become like—" She stopped herself, but he understood the unspoken comparison.

Cheers To My Beautiful

Cheers To My Beautiful

No makeup on, and no jewelry but she still managed to catch the eyes of everyone. Glenda. What is she doing here?! I was pissed, she was here again and I knew to taunt me with her natural beauty. I despised the fact that she never did anything wrong and even when she did, she knew how to fix it. I loathed her because she was so nice and sweet, little Miss Perfect. Glenda, my parents' goddaughter, was a thorn in my flesh and I could see that thorn had returned. "Oh my! Glenda!" Mom called out joyfully. She froze on her track and turned her body to the side. A smile spread across her worried face. She quickly began walking to us instead of wherever she was heading.

Hila

Hila

Chander's sudden interruption brought her back. "Miss Hila, let me help you take care of the other eleven." She didn't feel light headed or drunk anymore. "Why would you help me? You are in no position to gain anything from their deaths and if you are, just shut it and consider yourself lucky that your competition just got lower." She took off the robe and was left covered by a tiny sleeveless navy blue dress that barely covered even half her thighs. The pair of linen dolphin shorts of the same color loosely swayed as she moved towards him.

Billionaire's Famous Lawyer Ex-Wife

Billionaire's Famous Lawyer Ex-Wife

“The price tag may be high, but the style is outdated — more suited for women in their fifties or sixties. It’s a seasonal Hermès model, yet it’s hardly appealing. If you’re out fishing, at least catch some timeless classics that hold their value. Or better yet, have Mr. William buy you some real estate — at least that won’t depreciate.” Gloria assumed the remark referred to Ray and overreacted. As Adriana’s words sank in, her fury boiled over. She stood abruptly, pointing a shaking finger. “You… how dare you insult me? Say it again, and I’ll kill you!” Ray, still relaxed, flicked the ash off his cigar. He showed no intention of intervening. He sat there calmly, as if watching an entertainin

Gabbalaba
Thoughtful, action packed, and dripping with feminist enabling leads. Totally unexpected side-characters also step into the light. Ending felt rushed, and change of POV felt like a first-person restriction. Pre-climax was confusing with too many planning details. I loved the women as allies theme.
Vroom Vroom
Great story. There are some heavy chapters to get through so if rape, sex trafficking or abuse are triggers for you then skip this book!!! If they aren't triggers for you then I highly recommend this book. I agree with other comments that the incomplete sentences were annoying.
