Glitter Mariah Carey Film Novels & Stories

While my friends bubbled with anticipation about the upcoming fashion show, I craved a moment of tranquility. As I pressed play on my playlist, the melodic tunes of calm waves and soothing nature sounds filled my ears. The peaceful rhythm lulled me into a state of relaxation. I closed my eyes, allowing the serene sounds to transport me to a place far away from the frenetic energy of the fashion world. Beatrice's excited voice disrupted my reverie. "Can you believe we'll be walking the runway alongside Helena Christensen and Karlie Kloss? This show is going to be legendary!"

| Whitney | “My dear, we're slow dancing in a burning room." John Mayer crooned from Whitney's "Heartbreak" Spotify playlist, and she nodded her head quietly to the melancholy beat. Closing her eyes and mouthing the chorus. She'd just pulled up beside Hollis' house a few minutes ago, but really wanted to finish listening to this song before heading inside. Because right now, she felt those words right to the core.

she whispered, “and not all that glitters is gold…” Diego smiled warmly and finished the thought, “But sometimes… all that glitters is your stepdad.” They both chuckled softly and threw pillows at each other.

That was when I scrolled past some gossip from the underground world. "New Don Spotted Kissing Girlfriend at Nightclub Kiss—Marriage Rumors Explode." Envy ran through the comment section. People claimed this real-life drama outshone any movie. Michele's success in both love and business should have comforted me. Instead, my eyes burned with a sharp sting. Just then, my phone rang.

he remarked, his eyes twinkling with affection. Marissa chuckled, a tear of joy threatening to escape her eyes. "I can't help it," she confessed. "Let's save the tears for the vows, shall we? We wouldn't want to ruin your makeup, and I certainly don't have the skills of a makeup artist," Juan quipped, his tone light and teasing. Marissa laughed again, feeling reassured by their conversation and no longer nervous. *** The wedding hall was stunning, bathed in a soft, glowing light that seemed to come from every corner. Twinkling fairy lights hung from the ceiling, casting a warm, golden hue. Sheer drapes adorned the walls, creating an enchanting atmosphere.

Claire explains and I laugh when I spot Mariah glaring at Claire for spilling her secret. "I said I teared up. Not that I cried," Mariah says and it's Claire's turn to roll her eyes. "Same difference, Cougar. The movie got passed your hard shell. I'm sold," Claire says and we all laugh as Mariah sticks out her tongue at my obnoxious best friend.

He had a keen eye, and his decisions were always quick and precise. I was wearing a simple, black fishtail dress that night. I wasn't wearing any jewelry, but Oliver had immediately picked me out in the crowd. "Julia York?" he asked as he approached me, smiling while raising his glass at me. "I've admired you for a long time." "You know who I am, Mr. Rosenfield?" I asked politely in response. "Chuck Garrison's ex-wife, the original president of Starlight Group, and the heiress of the York family. It would be even more surprising if I didn't know who you were."

Just as I finished, my mother shoved my head on the glass wall again as she kept hollering, "Dream on! I designated Harold as my heir last year already! Whoever he marries will inherit the company with him!" Though everyone was stunned by her words and regarded Harold with even more admiration, that was when an elderly but strong voice boomed in the gala hall behind us, "Quincy Waltz! I dare you to say that again!"

Also firing her ass helped as well. The music eventually transitions into the dance mix version of No More Tears (Enough is Enough) featuring the iconic Barbra Streisand and Donna Summer, and when I tell you the gays are losing their shit, I mean that wholeheartedly. The Glitter Hole doesn’t shy away from playing classic songs from gay icons and I couldn’t be more grateful because they just don’t make music like this anymore.
