Their wings remained translucent just like dragonfly wings but they each had different colored wings. I remembered seeing green, red, and yellow wings and since they were closer to the hovering lights. Their wings flashed glowing streams of glittering luminosity that resembled the reflection of light on soap bubbles. The howl of the werewolves nearby alarmed my auditory senses. I knew I had to find an escape immediately. I was in the wrong territory on the wrong night. My heart rapidly beat as if it was participating in a marathon. I quickened my footsteps and began running again.

We had turned to look at her after hearing my name, smiling inside as we took her in. Her hair was trailing behind her, back-lit by the sun and casting a soft golden glow around her head. Her face was flushed and the corners of her eyes glistened with unshed tears. She looked confused and surprised, seeming to not notice the trembling of her body. And it filled our body with awe just with the sight of her, seeing her look so innocent and angelic as we flew.

We stepped out of the portal to the most beautiful kingdom I have seen. It's regal just like my kingdom, only everything is gold and looks like it's been covered with fine specs of white glitter. Everything was so bright and shiny. The fairies flew about another us. Their crystal clear wings were outlined with gold and had small gold swirls in the center of each wing.

Arabella whispered, her voice quivering. To her astonishment, she observed the metal bars starting to dissolve as she clutched them with her hands. With caution, she eased herself out of the cage, an overwhelming warmth coursing through her veins. The heat within her intensified, her gaze drawn inexorably to the flames dancing around her.
