Goblin Face Novels & Stories

The five of us were trapped inside a magical net capable of nullifying our powers. “Shit,” Aris said angrily. Suddenly it began to shake, and goblins came out of the ground. They were different from the goblins that helped us in the wasteland; these ones looked smaller. Once they were all below us, one of them began to laugh. I knew right away that he was the leader. “This loot is very powerful,” the goblin said. “I wonder what we can do with them.” The goblins started laughing, and suddenly I saw my mother in the background.

Alec bends to study it but still keeps his distance. The tiny creature is gray green, with a face far too wide for its body. Its eyes are black as coal, and its hands and feet are large and round like a baby's, with long, delicate fingers and toes. It doesn't stand more than a foot tall. "It might be a creature native to this pocket dimension," Alec says, eyeing the goblin warily. The creature starts to move towards us, and I take a step back. "Should we ... should we try to communicate with it?"

A groan escaped his mouth, and one of the goblins looked his way. What had he done for their reaction to be this severe? "He's waking up." One of them rose and stalked across the room to him. He tracked the goblin's movement. They were in human form, but they still looked nasty. How did humans pass them on the street and not notice there was something wrong with them? Some were charming and could put on a more attractive face, but most goblins were not that powerful. He'd bet many prisons held goblins. They were not fit for polite society.

Take one Gwen, it's a criteria for going through the door." I lied. The door was guarded by yet another pair of wolves. They were both huge. One of them had a scar running from across his left eye to his chin."I..I had no idea." She said. She was quite flustered as she complied and took a drink the elf handed out to her. Reluctantly she downed the bitter liquid and popped the cup back on the tray. I winked at the elf, he beamed slightly at me in return as he left.

he said in his bold and rounded voice. The man was thousands of years old but looked no more than maybe forty years old in human years. One of the demon’s abilities, or any creature not in the human realm, was the ability to freeze our features so that we always appeared young. I froze myself around twenty, but Uncle Luci wanted a bit more wisdom to show on his face, so he let himself age a bit more, along with growing a large and bushy beard to match his curly hair. I was sure that if he shaved the beard it would take ten years off of him.
