I almost vomit from the stench of its breath, my stomach curling uncomfortably. I can feel my nose hairs burning. Lifting my gaze slightly, I lock eyes with the yellow, menacing eyes of a large Goblin. Its wrists, neck, nose, ears ankles all cuffed in pieces of stolen gold. Its inky black body hovers over me, and I try not to react too harshly. "Valerie, warp to me," Jaxson growls through our mind-link. I try not to flicker my gaze to him again, keeping my fearless watch locked on the Goblin.

I heard the majority of the goblins gasping in reaction to what I did, yet none of them dropped their weapons yet. "Drop your weapon!" a newly arrived goblin shouted as soon as he recognized me. "Hello, Hannipkah." I greeted Hannipkah, who was not actually my friend. Rather, we are more than business partners. "Hulk!" William innocently pointed at Hannipkah. I chuckled at my son's comment because Hannipkah really looks like the fictional character in the comics. All of his tribe members are short; they are like four to five feet tall, but Hannipkah is a large man; maybe he's seven feet now, and his face looks more human than the natural goblin faces.

Sia looked at her blankly. "Pfft. Why did you nod off after reading the knights' reports?" Eliza inquired. "Don't you feel suffocated at the academy or at home? Furthermore, I detest entering dungeons when there are already a lot of people." Sia examined the documents in her hands. A goblin was illustrated on it. From the abnormal goblin that was in front of them, this goblin had an entirely different appearance. This creature had a rather orc-like appearance rather than any resemblance to a goblin. However, it was different because it had muscles instead of the protruding stomach that Orcs did, it was armoured, it had a weapon, and it was taller.

Those eyes reminded her of everything brown — the coffee. Crinkles usually formed underneath and beside his eyes whenever he cackled. Those crinkles got her thinking if he was older than he looked, because, asides the crinkles, his porcelain skin always shone with youthfulness and vibrance, the kind of vibrance that radiated from a healthy teenager. " ... want some berries?" Dr Jake offered her a bowl of red berries. Rosaleen gave a soft, close-tipped smile which the young man couldn't discern if it was an approval.

Their large yellow eyes protruded while they searched around for Amethyst. "Goblins!?" Amethyst aired after finally realising that they were famished to capture her. They did not care much about their 'mortal' appearance. "They have lost track of my aura!" After a short calculation, Amethyst broke into quietened giggles as she waited to see what'll happen next.

They found themselves whittling away the hours staring at the dim light that peeked through the slats of wood that held them. Huddled in the corner of their makeshift prison were two distinct figures that unwillingly drew attention to themselves. The other kids had stayed far from them. Their skin was rough and leathery, but it wasn’t the texture of it that set them apart, rather the fact that their blotchy hides were covered in various shades of green. With this characteristic, in addition to their sharp pointed ears and their defined teeth, anyone who hadn’t lived beneath a rock their entire life would identify these creatures as goblins.

The children laughed seeing Cecilia was too easily brought down while Matthew was almost unmoved. Seeing the children laugh their hearts out, Cecilia could not herself but let a little giggle. As if the fear she had before was slowly disappearing. “Ah, Matthew!” Another voice came into their ears. All of them turned around and saw another goblin with a rather clean cloak than he would usually wear. “Ah, Gon!” Gon smiled when Matthew noticed him. Then he turned to the children and said something in their language. Later, the children all whined before running off anyways.

They talk about class mates and the people that he had met. Danny tells Asher that he does not care for his english teacher Mrs. Sheften. Asher nods. “Ol' hachet face Harriett. She is a shrew, that is for sure!” “Hatchet face Harriett?” Danny asks and he grins. “It is what we all call her. Not really sure why. Maybe because her constant frown makes her face appear to have been carved out with a hatchet? Or maybe because she always looks angry enough to murder you with one? Who knows?” Asher says with a grin and Dani chuckles.

I snickered. "What’s so funny?" She glared at me. "Your face!" I laughed. "Why is my face funny? Do I have something on it?" She rubbed at her cheeks and chin. "No, no. But if you want to learn how to make the alpha face, I can teach you. I'm surprised Blake hasn't. His is hardcore." "Oh!" She laughed. "Yeah, I don't think I've seen enough torture to ever make my face as good as Blake's." She shook her head. "Okay, back to topic. Tell me your intentions with Gigi."
