The girls bailed early, so I brought the good stuff—spicy tuna, salmon avocado, dragon rolls, and I made them give me extra wasabi!”
Selene stands up fast, her movement jerky. Her face goes blank, the cold mask sliding back into place. “I’m not hungry, Gwen.”
