The Mate They Threw Away
They were clear, cold and filled with a quiet but intense malice.
“Who are you?” I asked him.
“Relax, Sage, I am not your enemy, at least not yet.” He raised a right hand that was silverish in colour. In fact, both of his hands were silver coated. It was strange and unsettling to look at.
“My name is Malice,” he said.
“How do you know my name?” I asked.
“I have known you for a long time, Sage, we all have.” He said with a cold smile. They were more than one of them. Great.
