He was so arrogant! "Have you ever considered that maybe you overestimate your abilities? I need something stronger than beer to put up with this." I groaned in frustration. A mischievous smile appeared on one side of his mouth. "What are you thinking?" "You said something stronger..." "Stop it. You're really a pervert." "Whiskey... that's an acceptable answer since you want to play the Puritan." "Puritan? Is that what you call women who reject you?" "This game has just begun, and soon it will be you begging me to touch you."

The Perfect Enemy

The Perfect Enemy

Carefree The day I woke up feeling like I had gone ten rounds with the world heavyweight champion. I was so angry and hurt, I wondered if, in my sleep, I was fighting all night. Images of Victor's face kept creeping into my mind. He didn't seem like a mean or vindictive person. Sure, he was extra and a bit flamboyant in his style. Always perfectly dressed, rather casual, or in a suit and tie. Not a strand of hair ever out of place. So clean and orderly, a bit of a perfectionist. But even with all of that, he doesn't seem harsh or cruel. I moaned, forcing myself out of the incredibly comfortable bed, heading into the bathroom.

I like to give these books fair reviews. This is my first time reading a book on Good Novel that offered a different storyline. I like that it's about marriage but not the way all the books I read portray it. Well done! And recommend ... the others read it!

I’m a reader who doesn’t need to be constantly stimulated. I look for books that tell a good and intriguing story. I feel that will be the readers that will thoroughly enjoy this well written piece of work. Great job author.

THE PERFECT HUSBAND

THE PERFECT HUSBAND

“Because God is doing it for me. He’s in Malawi, a shell of himself. That’s enough.” “You have made everyone believe you are this perfect man who always kept his hands clean, who’s forgiving. But I see it now. You don’t have clean hands. You just hide the dirt better than anyone else.” “Ok Judith, what now?” Judith paused. “How do you sleep without yourself?” “Like a baby. We are not going to have problems, right?“ “You need help.” He hung up and returned to the altar. Seemah walked down in a bridesmaid dress. Their eyes met and she blushed standing onto the other side.

“What ? You realize the mess you have fucked up, is that it?” “ I'm sorry, okay? If I had to do it again I…” I cross my arms against my chest waiting for him to finish his sentence. “If I had to do it again I…” “ Believe me, if I knew who you were, I would never have laid eyes on you. Damon Westwood” He sighs before looking up. “ I knew it wouldn't be long before you shed all the light on me." “You just confirm all the clichés.Rich hunks? Unable to

The Perfect Conspiracy

The Perfect Conspiracy

Dylan's deep-set blue eyes and facial features that resemble that of a Greek god made him the dream man of every woman. “Are you alright? You shouldn’t have taken off the IV just yet.” “It’s okay Tim. I’m okay as you can see.” Dylan assured him with a smile but Tim could not afford to return the gesture. “This is not funny at all. You really had me worried.” Tim complained, a frown forming on his forehead. “I know and I’m sorry.” Dylan rose to his feet. “I keep telling you to always keep an EpiPen on hand and to be mindful of the meals you eat outside.” Tim chastised, his voice firm. “You, of all people, know that nuts are a no-go. I cannot believe……”

My Mr Perfect, Imperfect

"Why did it have to be him, of all people? I don't even know why I'm here! Drinking away my sorrows just to forget about him. It's not as if he's that handsome. I mean, Jade has such a nasty temper, and I hate what he does sometimes. Do I even deserve this?!" "It's always like that, bestie. Sometimes, we don't get what we want from life. See, most of us aren't perfect my dear. We just have to make the best out of people even if we think their wrong for us, sometimes. Make Jade a perfect gentle man, Fire. Mayor's Dutiful Wife

I stood up and copied the way he walks putting my hands in my imaginary pant pockets. "CaLl mE Mr. HaRDiNg! Because if you call me by my first name I will lose it and throw tantrums like a fucking three-year-old!" "I am the worst! I am a human version of period cramps" I was enjoying this. I went on a few more minutes, roasting him alone. "I'm the proof that God has a sense of humor!" "I think I was dropped on my head when I was a baby... No, no, I didn't just drop. I was thrown in the air, smacked by the ceiling fan, and tossed out of the window! That is why I have half a brain"

Jane Doe writings have all been quite interesting with the characters truthfully unique in each their own style! Even though they are all different storylines the ups & downs are like a roller coaster ride till the end!

Just finished reading this book, again after almost 3 years... I love Anna ...️ she is one of the loveliest Female Characters Jane has created, and she is and will always be my number one. As per Mason, after reading it again I felt he is worst here compared to Ace's story.
