Dorian shifted to the passenger seat, letting the two women sit at the back.

She was a gossipmonger. "Sera," she called in confusion, making them halt. Sera looked up to find Gina's eyes moving from their joined hands to Nate. Her eyes widened. She stared blatantly, shamelessly, momentarily struck by his ridiculous level of handsomeness. Then her wide eyes trailed to Sera, holding admiration and sheer disbelief. Admiration for Nate and disbelief as to how Sera managed to bag this Greek God. "Leaving?" Gina asked, feeling subdued by his commanding aura.

Pack members came to offer condolences, leaving tokens and gifts, though each gesture felt like a reminder of Serena’s absence rather than a balm to their grief. Serena’s sisters, **Elara** and **Maeve**, were inconsolable. Elara, always fiery and bold, struggled to contain her anger and took to the training grounds pushing herself to exhaustion as if she could channel her pain into strength. Serena was seething with rage. Her face still red from both anger and the effect of the slap. “Arabella. ARABELLA.
