Marrying My Ex for Revenge

Marrying My Ex for Revenge

Set the cup down with deliberate care. Then I laugh. "I'm sorry," I say, still laughing. "I thought you just said—" "I did." "Marry you." I lean back in my chair. "Marry. You." "Yes." "The same you who—" I stop. Smile. It doesn't reach my eyes. "Actually, let's not. I have things to do, and I'd hate to waste both our time on memory lane." "Elena—" "Your father's dead." I watch his face carefully. "Heart attack. Last week. I sent flowers. Black roses. Did you get them?"

They could have taken more time to love each other because Juliet had already taken a sample of their target's magical signature but unfortunately, they decided not to let their son go out alone today. Ricky not only died without a body to bury but his soul was also extinguished earlier this day which had granted him true death without any chance for later resurrection. It was them or that man. There was no other choice. Someone between them had to die this day. "Gate Open!" a few minutes later, two hearts went out of their way to journey towards the murky trails of revenge. ____________________ "I won again, Maru!" the wood nymph jumped in glee after she had thrown another of those six face

The starting was serious. The child mature too fast, which is sad, but hopefully 'bullies' let them be and not add to their condition. looks promising, especially the curiosity of how the kids are going to pull through. nice ?

The Underworld Trials of Luna

The Underworld Trials of Luna

“It is so good of you to come,” Death says, baring his teeth as he gives me a horrible grin. “After all, my son should have another wolf at his wedding. It’s only proper.” I raise my chin, surprised and not bothering to hide it. “You called me to war, Death,” I call out, letting my voice carry magically through the air so that all can hear it. After all, I’ve got nothing to hide. “And now you’re telling me it’s a party? I’d have worn something else if I knew it was going to be a celebration.”

awesome continuity... please if you continue for the other characters, show it in the description like you did for the book 2. there's another book with the same names of Ellie and Dominic and I was confused. I really hope there's a Rafe and Mark book.

I cannot say nearly enough positive things about this book. It’s both a stand alone incredible story, as well as an amazing addition to the universe of “alphas surrogate”. I hope the author continues this family’s stories through other characters lives as well. Her writing is my favorite on this app

I PICKED UP A FAKE MATE, BUT HE'S THE ENEMY ALPHA

I PICKED UP A FAKE MATE, BUT HE'S THE ENEMY ALPHA

Unintentionally, seeking nothing but a moment of safety, I leaned into him and gently rested my head against his shoulder. Calix didn't move. He didn't pull away. He simply tightened his grip on my hand, letting me draw comfort from his silent strength. The next morning, a blizzard rolled over the Malvern Hills. Mira’s funeral was held in the pack’s ancestral graveyard, the dark stone tombs slowly being buried under a blanket of pure white snow. All five neighboring packs had arrived to show their respects. Because of the freezing wind and the lack of witnesses, the council elders had officially ruled Mira’s death as a tragic, accidental drowning.

The Reaper and The Devil

The Reaper and The Devil

" Death climbed onto into his uništi and put his hand on its head. The uništi's purple streaks turned darker as black flames formed around its hooves, neck, and eye sockets. "Sorry-" Death said to Mira. "-but I'm going to go as fast as I can." Death gripped the reins and yelled "Go!" causing the uništi to almost disappear in a flash of speed. Mira did her best to keep up, but it wasn't long before she was trailing Death. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. 'I had heard legends of him, but to be able to hold on to such a thing.' She realized she couldn't keep up, so she simply tried to maintain line of sight, but even that was difficult.

Please Marry me

Please Marry me

Luna’s POV I’m going to die in this forest. Not in a heroic, “she saved the world” kind of way. Not even in a dramatic, slow-motion, tragic-princess way. No. I’m going to die wheezing, tripping over roots, and wearing mismatched slippers like a complete embarrassment. My lungs are burning. Not the cute “I climbed three flights of stairs” burn. The “bury me in a nice outfit and pretend I was graceful” kind of burn.

Trinity of Power

Trinity of Power

I see Diego out of my peripheral vision, heading toward Gael and Zak. Liam and I gather our hunches, preparing to jump. Suddenly, the witch turns to Merry. She throws a pillar of purple-black energy at Merry. My mate tries to move out of the way, but trips on a large rock. She’s about to be hit, when Diego jumps in out of nowhere. He grabs Merry by the scruff of the neck, attempting to get her out of the way. They are both hit with the blast, though Diego takes the brunt of it.

I've thoroughly enjoyed this series. Your attention to detail and twists and turns have kept me on edge. I was disappointed Charlie died, but a good book doesn't always have a perfect ending. I can't wait for the new one, which I hope is any day now.

Marrying My Ex

Marrying My Ex

"If I can get help from others, I also don't have to marry Noah and accept your curses, Mom..." Mrs. Gina was even more surprised, "Marry?" Grace nodded tearfully, "Yes, mom. I'm married to Noah." [Slap!] Mrs. Gina raised her hand and prepared to slap Grace again. The slap did land hard, but not on Grace's cheek but on someone else's. "Noah?!" "Y-you dare come here?!" An angry Mrs. Gina was even more outraged to find Noah there, especially when Noah replaced Grace to receive the slap. The atmosphere in Mrs. Gina's hospital room became even worse when Mrs. Gina, who heard the news of Grace and Noah's quickie wedding, couldn't resist the shock, causing her to have another heart attack.

My Death Contract

My Death Contract

She wasn't sure how she had gotten to the bottom each time. All she could remember was the feeling. She was angry, furious, as she flew down the hills. She remembered her rage and extreme focus that just clicked to her like a magnet. As Meredith thought of her past runs, she knew that they didn't even compare to what she was going to face. Mizuki had seen the news about Brayden and Meredith and decided to drop in unannounced on their honeymoon. Meredith clenched her jaw as the water streamed down over her. Meredith wasn't sure if the Death Contract was enough to keep Brayden.

The One Chosen to Die

The One Chosen to Die

Her face was expressionless, but there was no light in her eyes, like two dried wells. Above her head, I saw that the blood-red countdown was gone. I froze for a moment, then smiled. So that was it. My death hadn’t been completely meaningless. At least when I died, I took the witch’s prophecy with me. My sister survived. She could live a long and good life. Mary crouched down, using a piece of cloth to shield her hand, and carefully gathered my remaining ashes into an urn, bit by bit. She was meticulous, not letting even the smallest fragment fall.
