Mom Picked Her Golden Child

Mom Picked Her Golden Child

Wouldn't look at me. "Katerina said they were starting a business, so I invested the money..." That was all I needed to hear. No way I was paying for her flight. As I moved to hang up, she snapped, "But Katerina promised to double it! It's only $500,000—Chris makes that in a month!" I rolled my eyes. "Then wait for Katerina to buy your ticket. Why are you calling me?" What I couldn't wrap my head around was—if Katerina and Chris were so rich, why couldn't they just hire some help?

The Golden Child's Secret

The Golden Child's Secret

Her mother attempted to rescue her, and both of them tragically drowned. Although the faces in the news photos were blurred out, I spotted the bracelet on the mother's wrist right away. It was a little bracelet I had made for Mom in kindergarten craft class for Mother's Day. At the time, she had smiled and said she would definitely wear it. Then, she turned around and tossed it carelessly into a flower pot, completely forgetting about it. I set down my phone and quietly stared out the window. Ashton came over and hugged me. He seemed to want to say something to comfort me, but opted for silence instead. There was nothing else to say.

She Wolf

She Wolf

Who are the Goldens anyway? “Oh yes, the Golden Clan. In general, two clans stand above all werewolves: Golden - their flock is located in Canada and Diamond - live in northern India. The Golden Clan, they are, roughly speaking, politicians. Resolve all issues between humans and werewolves. Economy, division of territories, diplomacy, they do a lot of things. And the Diamond clan is engaged in religion. All sources of power werewolves under their control. Tell me, - she looked at me, narrowing her eyes, - what planet did you live on if you don’t know such banal things? It's in the third grade, they probably teach.

I Accidentally Married The Tycoon's Heir

I Accidentally Married The Tycoon's Heir

The room exuded a sense of extravagant luxury, with the gold and white color scheme creating a visually stunning effect. As she gazed forward, her eyes were drawn to a golden door near the window, its ornate design catching the light. A table and chair stood nearby, and the entire wall seemed to shimmer with the reflected glow of gold. It was no surprise to Gwendolyn that every detail of Lucien's surroundings spoke of his immense wealth.

Ok many times I did not want to keep reading but I’m so glad I did! This book is definitely not for everyone but it does bring out so many emotions….I would definitely recommend it but you have to be strong and finish it- worth it!

I defined give this book 100...️. Out of all the interesting books (and some not so interesting), this one takes the cake. A few grammatical errors, but at least you understand the actual story nonetheless. I fully recommend it for strong hearted readers. Different plot from the clichés in this app.

Dear Diamond

Dear Diamond

"Diamond." Interesting. Typically, Jesse gave the girls their stage names, and there was always a reason. Cherry had hair to match the alias, even if it came from a box at Walmart. Cinnamon had a landing strip the exact shade, coupled with a spicy persona. Candy because she was sweet, and she played that role. Raven looked like a female version of the crow. Every girl was easy to spot. But Diamond didn't suit. "Seriously?" Cherry shrugged. "Jesse saw something in her. Who knows."

Addicted to Luring - Mister, Please Behave

Gold Mansion was a property of the Glory Group. Wendy had seen a picture in a magazine before. The first floor was dominated by the sales representatives. The counter was full of classic Glory Jewelry. Even Stella Brown's early design was here. "Wendy, I think I might change my mind about you. Such a big mall all belongs to your family." Daisy opened her mouth and was stunned. Wendy glared at her and said, "This isn't mine. It belongs to the Gavyn Family."

The gold cage

The gold cage

"Good evening, Miss Rios." Chloe smirked arrogantly seeing my calm and composed behavior. She stepped forward confidently, detaching herself slightly from Lucas’s hold, walking slowly and gracefully toward me, swaying her hips deliberately and proudly. She was wearing a stunning emerald green dress, sparkling diamond earrings, and around her neck hung a very familiar and expensive necklace — a jewelry set Lucas had bought and gifted me exactly on our fourth wedding anniversary, a piece which I hadn't worn in months and had kept safely inside my jewelry box. Seeing it adorning her neck, sparkling brightly against her skin, openly displayed as her precious possession, was clearly done delibera
