Good Books Summer Reading Novels & Stories

Something about that cool morning wind was so soothing and unnerving that she lost track of how many hours she spent doing absolutely nothing. Then, she read a novel she had bought from a subtlety that sold books in the resort. Halfway through the book, she was fuming at the writer for describing her exact situation with a certain self-centered, condescending, and arrogant dark hazel-eyed man. But part of her discipline was that whenever she picked up a book to read, she saw it to the very end, be it boring or annoying. And this one was well past annoying. Realistically annoying. "And they called it a fantasy," she sneered.

Chapter 6 Eliana Maxine “Anyway, enough about me. What’s everyone doing this summer?” Mica asked, stretching her legs out on the carpet. I let out a dramatic sigh and flopped back onto the cushions. “Mine’s going to be absolutely thrilling. I’ll be home, binge-watching K-dramas and reading books all summer long.” Cassie snorted. “Of course you will.” Gladz grinned, nudging my foot playfully with hers. “At least you’re consistent.”

He shifts back; putting a seat between us and truly looking horrified. Bibah simply shakes her head at our childish shenanigans and takes a sip of her iced latte, metal straw clinking in the Hydro Flask. “The Awoo Book Club’s pick for this week is H.P Lovecraft.” She pats the voluminous book atop the pile and I notice it’s the library copy of H.P Lovecraft’s Omnibus 3. “I’m so excited to roast his ass.”

She reached for it surprised by his bold act. He kept it away from her and studied the cover. “This has to be boring.” “It is.” She rolled her eyes. “Give me my book back.” “If it’s boring and you know this, then why are you reading it?” He handed it back to her. “Because the University of Miami law school suggested these books for their first year students.” She shrugged. “I like to be prepared before a semester starts.” “It’s summertime. “I’m aware of that.” “You need to be saved.”

Arya We only have a week left of being at the cabin before we need to go back to our real lives. My book is nearly done! Which is amazing! It usually takes me longer to write, but I think this one was easier because of the experiences I’ve had this summer.

I looked up, and under the shade of the trees, he stood quietly—tall and composed—but his face was hidden in shadow. It was summer, and the cicadas buzzed noisily in the background. It suddenly brought me back to the end of the video I had seen in the theater. He had been sitting there, hands clenched tightly together, saying, “Sadie, I want you to be happy.” Even now, I couldn’t forget those words. So, I answered him, “Because someone wants me to be happy.”

It will be the first time we have actually got to spend any quality time with Summer, since finding out she was our mate. Before they left, we asked the kids for a few ideas about what Summer liked.They know her best after all. They unanimously told us she loved picnics and frequently took them to the most beautiful little stream. It was their special place, which no one knew about. They also told us she always takes a chocolate cake, and it always gets eaten. On their way home, they always pick the most beautiful colorful flowers which Summer always puts in their kitchen.

Other than my bestie, April of course. I can see the woodland straight in front of me and a lake, it’s serene and tranquil. Perfect for sitting on the deck and reading a book. I’m a huge book nerd and at the moment I’m in my classical era and currently reading Anna Karenina. One of my all-time favorites but it is an epic.

The books are just like I remember them, better than the movies. I read the book To All the Boys I've Loved Before and the books after that. Watched the movie after. To my surprise I really liked them. I decided to look more at the Author of those books and see what other things she wrote. I ended up reading The Summer I Turned Pretty and the books after that. Marke reaction, surprisingly good. I started reading Burn for Burn now. It's really good even though I've only read like three chapters and haven't really gotten to the good part. I started to draw way more too. I have a certain sketch book that I fill up and usually it takes about a school year. The one I got for my birthday that I ha
