What You Did to Our Daughter

What You Did to Our Daughter

Some had already crusted over. At my voice, her eyes filled, and tears started falling, one after another. She screamed in panic, making broken, barking sounds, her body pressed low to the ground like a stray dog. My breath hitched. It felt like something inside me had been ripped apart. I never imagined my confident, cheerful little girl would end up like this. My eyes burned as I forced the words out. "Heidi, sweetheart, don't be afraid. It's me. I'm your dad. Don't you remember? I took you to the amusement park. We flew kites together."

A Perfect Summer

A Perfect Summer

Then, I tied a rope to a belt and looped it around his waist. Theo looked at me, completely puzzled. I responded, "Today, you ate two bags of potato chips, a cup of ice cream, a pack of fruit leather, two pieces of chocolate, and a slice of cheesecake. "Mommy's already done the calculations for you, and you won't be able to burn off all these extra calories just by taking an evening stroll. So, I have decided that we will have a very fun, loving, and exciting family activity instead!"

Dear Stepbrother

Dear Stepbrother

So here it goes. Good bye Kara. You were the highlight of my summer, actually, quite possibly you were the highlight of my 19 years of living. I will never forget you and our summer together. I wish I could say I applaud your selflessness for choosing our family over us, but who am I kidding? I think your choice sucked. You chose what was convenient for everyone and I hated it. But, like you said in Rule Number 3, no matter what happens, I won't look back in regret. I don't regret ever knowing you or loving you. And given the chance, I'd do it all over again.

Ooqueah
I just finished reading the book now and I must say I have enjoyed every bit of it. I couldn’t put it down once I started reading. I so loved Kara and Ry’s love story. Lots of laughters and tears but loved the happy ending. I hope there is a sequel.

This book has been one of my favorite books from you author. The love story of Ry and K is amazing. I would still read them from time to time and not get bored of their story. I love your writing especially on a romantic love story. So many emotions, laughter and tears.

Remember: Lost Love

Remember: Lost Love

After struggling with the door a little, she succeeded and stepped out of the restaurant. It was still drizzling a bit, but it was bearable. After all, Thalia loved the rain. She loved to get drenched and play in the rain. She only pretended to not like it because it wasn't socially acceptable to not avoid rain or to go around looking like a drenched rat. Her favourite memory with her mom was playing in the rain in her favourite rain boots after school. Her mom also loved the rain, just like her. Her mom loved life in its entirety.

Love You Like I Used To? Forget It!

Love You Like I Used To? Forget It!

"But, Mr. Holland, what if… what if I really did do it?" "Impossible!" he instantly replied. "I've never met anyone who was a better person than you! There's no way you could have done it, so don't worry!" A lot of time had passed since I had lost my memory. Even so, I had never once been worried. In fact, I was even glad it had happened as I didn't remember that scumbag, Irvin. Yet now, I was panicking because I was unable to recall anything. "But, Mr. Holland, it really was me in the video. And I can't recall what I was doing at the time, no matter how hard I try. I-I'm scared that—"

Forever Always

Forever Always

Only then, behind the safety of my own lock, did the world finally slow down enough for me to breathe. I sank onto the edge of my narrow bed, the silence of my room a stark contrast to the pulsing music of the night before. Now that I wasn't running for my life, the memories began to flicker back like a damaged film reel. I remembered the club, the way the bass had vibrated in my chest, and the way Ethan had looked at me, like I was the only person in a room of a thousand. I remembered the heat of the dance floor, our bodies moving sensually, locked together in a way that made the rest of the world disappear. I closed my eyes, and I could still feel the fire of his mouth on mine during that

The Man You Couldn’t Forget

The Man You Couldn’t Forget

Funny how that kid always managed to fall sick at the most convenient times. "The kid isn't even yours, so why is he always calling you instead of someone else? I swear, Irene, if you walk out that door today, we're getting divorced tomorrow!" Irene snapped, "Do whatever you want! Don't use that to threaten me! You're a heartless monster! No one would want you, especially after we get that divorce!" Fury surged through me. The moment she turned to open the door, I flipped the table over with a violent shove. The candlelit dinner I had prepared for the occasion crashed to the floor in a complete mess.

The Heart Never Forgets

The Heart Never Forgets

I felt a sharp, familiar sting in my chest, a relatable ache I had spent years trying to heal from. I looked at him, seeing the soot on his face and the new, jagged scars on his forearms, but all I could think about was the man who had vanished when I was young. The memory hit me with the scent of summer rain and the crushing weight of a heart that had been broken once before by the same hand.

Forgive, Never Forget

Forgive, Never Forget

"Jason darling, don't act like you forgot who I am just because you got rich. I remember that red mole on your ass clear as day." Sarah's brain seemed to short-circuit. Time stopped. Then she turned slowly and backhanded Yvonne so hard she hit the floor. Yvonne lay there, blood streaming from her nose. She looked up and saw Sarah coming toward her. She scrambled to her feet and ran. Everyone in the room turned back to me. I stood as straight as I could, but I couldn't stop shaking. "I have nothing to do with her. You can investigate. You can—"

Can I Learn To Love Again?

Can I Learn To Love Again?

mum handed me a slice of watermelon. Right, I had forgotten that rule again. I always forget it. I'm allowed to take the opposite sex to my room, if and only if I leave the door open. “Right, I forgot” I said guiltily. “You always forget, that's like the only serious rule we gave apart from no parties during school sessions and yet you keep forgetting it” she said taking the rest of the watermelon that won't be eaten to the fridge. I could tell she was a little bit upset.
