Good Books To Read Romance Novels & Stories

Of course, I also have other books. For some reason, 'Endless Poison Love' is my favorite romance novel because I can feel the Author's feelings being poured into it. Sure, the plot, characters, scenes, words, and lessons are good, but it's the Author's way of writing that has got me hooked. She's a genius.

Maybe at Shanice place. After sating her hunger, she hopped onto her bed. As a routine, she grabbed her novel from the table, parted the book to where she had left off last night, and began reading. She loved reading romance novels. The MLs in these books are so different than the real-life men. The love they show feels so pure. She wondered if she would ever get to experience that kind of love. The thought caused her feeling giddy. She wants her man to be possessive, a little bit obsessive, and hella romantic. Someone who will kiss the ground she walks on. Someone who will choose her and only her every time. She will be his first choice.

My hand reached out almost automatically and I picked up a worn paperback titled “Beneath the Wolf Moon.” A wolf-themed romance. Go figure. “You are going for those cheesy ones,” Emma teased from a nearby shelf. “They’re comforting,” I replied, hugging the book to my chest. “You always know who ends up together, no one actually gets punched in the face, and the girl doesn’t have to decide between two emotionally unstable guys.” She snorted. “Wish real life worked like that.” “Same.”

“I’m sorry, but it’s true. Men think wiggling their eyebrows at us or doing what you were doing is sexy, but really, it isn’t, especially when you’re dressed like that.” I shrug and slump on the bed next to her. “I just thought it was romantic, you know?” She leans over to the side of the bed and pulls out a romance book from under the pillow. “Use this. It’s the best manual for what girls really like.” I take the book and study the cover. A man is kissing the neck of a woman whose blouse is slightly off her shoulder. “Blah,” I say and toss the book to the side. I actually think I’ve read it before.

He held up the book so I could see how much of it he had read. “You’re reading my vampire romance?” Obviously, I knew this already, but I still couldn’t believe he actually had it in his hands. I was more than a little embarrassed. “Well, yeah,” Brandon said, pulling it away from me. “Fangs of Love by Amber Rose. It’s really quite interesting. I’m doing research.” He said it in an overly romanticized voice and I could feel my face turning red. “Just give it here,” I whispered, reaching for it again. He held it just out of my reach.

I turn around and take a look at those. "They don't feel the same anymore", I tell him. He immediately frowns in confusion. "So, you got bored with ROMANCE?" "No. But there's a reason", I say, leaning against the shelf and placing my palm over the books. Then I slowly trace my hand over them. "And the reason is—" he leans back too, a foot of distance between us but we can clearly hear each other whispering. "People who read romance, mostly women—" I giggle. "They want to escape reality. So, they can find more beautiful things in fiction"

At the bottom of the shelf, though, were a handful of romance novels—in English, no less. I pulled out a historical romance by a favorite author of mine. I hadn’t read this one, and I’d already finished the one romance I’d brought with me. I was a total bore and preferred to read printed books still. Probably because they smelled nice. If e-readers could let out a puff of new-book scent, though, I’d buy one in a heartbeat. “The Seduction of Miss Emily Morris,” Olivier read over my shoulder. “That rather gives the plot away, no?”

These characters will always exist between the pages, waiting for you whenever you decide to visit them again. As for me? There's still long hours till morning. Checking the book in his hand, he discovered it to be a novel. 'The Red and the Black' by Stendhal. After checking the description of the book, he believed it wouldn't be bad to give it a try although he is not fond of reading novels. Leo prefer reading normal books, it doesn't matter which type it is as long as there are not romance books. Most of the romance books he read in the past are rather cliche, untrue and misleading because such love in books doesn't exist in this modern day society.

These books at least give me somewhat of an idea. I used to be able to picture the heroes in my mind, but ever since I met Rhett, all I see is his face.
