(good) Horror Films Novels & Stories

At least, the good thing is that we haven’t only been watching chick flicks, we also watched some of their horrific movies. I don’t know how they think their movies are horrific. There is nothing horrid there. Just really crappy story writing skill and all and their horror movies are very cliche and sort of unrealistic. Black kids aren’t the lookout. That is just racist honestly. It’s like saying ‘oh, my life has way more values than yours so for that, you should be the lookout so in case something happens you will be the one to die.’ I swear there’s no way someone will tell me that’s not exactly what they are saying because I have no other explanation for this shit.

Slits, the pupils, staring directly at him as Ben froze in place. "Boo~." It chimed again, those eyes crinkling with glee. Horror movies were dumb. They were grotesque for no reason, they never had a real scare. Demons, ghouls, ghosts, monsters, Ben knew none of it existed. It was impractical and it had never made a lick of sense. Right?

"A horror movie?" Victor nodded. Bob's reaction was over the top: "For crying out loud, man! You could've picked anything, and you go for horror? Have you lost your mind, or am I dreaming? Don't you know the domestic film market? Horror flicks have no audience here. A couple years back, a big-budget 3D horror movie tanked hard. Not only did it bomb, but viewers ripped it to shreds. Aren't you all about reputation? Why on earth would you take on this kind of project?"

Cecilia's pov The horror movie credits rolled across my screen, casting a ghostly blue glow over the walls and my unmade bed. I'd picked something especially gruesome--the kind where good-looking people make stupid choices and wind up dead in increasingly creative ways. It was mindless, bloody, and loud--exactly what I needed. Somehow, watching all that blood and screaming made my own mess feel...manageable. Predictable, even. At least their horror had rules. Mine didn't.

I love horror that’s why we chose go watch "Insidious 3.” I keep on screaming not because it looks scary but because I got startled. The sound effect is so loud especially when the ghost is coming out. “That will be the last movie hon. Our child might look like them if you keep on watching this type of movies.” I laugh at him. "Seriously?! You believe in those kind of superstition?” “I’m not. But there’s no harm in following it right? I don’t want to regret when you give birth to our child.” I can’t help but laugh.

“Let’s watch this today and make it a challenge. What do you guys think?” When more than two people were watching a horror movie, the atmosphere in the theater would become much more interesting than that of a romance movie. Especially when one was frightened, she could jump into the arms of the person who was sitting next to her. That had always been the reason horror movies were one of the best assists in kickstarting a romantic relationship! Naomi responded, “I can go with anything.” Francisco hesitated for a bit. “Are you sure you want to watch this?”

This was the perfect way to spend an evening with my two best friends. The room was adorned with dimmed lights, creating an atmosphere that was both cozy and eerie. We had chosen a selection of classic horror movies, knowing well that the screams and jumps would only add to the thrill of the night. As the first movie began, I nestled into the corner of the couch.

Kimi’s room was similar. “So,” Rose started before I interrupted her. “Horror movie marathon! Classics like Halloween, Pet Sematary, and Friday the 13th!” The girls looked at me as if I’d grown an extra head. I knew they hated horror films, but I had to try. Rose tapped her elegant finger the color of cinnamon on her luscious lips. “I was thinking more along the lines of the six hour Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Emma with Gwenneth Paltrow, and Mansfield Park.” Her lips lifted in a smirk. I groaned and face planted onto her bed. She really knew where to hit a man where it counts.

It had been quite a while since she last watched that kind of movie. "Horror?" He parrotted. "Yes." "Are you sure?" asked Aaron to make sure of her choice. It was not that he disagreed with her choice. In fact, he had no problem with any genre, as long as it had an exciting storyline. She was the same. There was no particular genre that she avoided, including horror. But as he recalled, his wife didn't really enjoy watching horror movies at night. She said it could make her difficult to sleep because of the scary scenes in the film. And since it was already night, was she sure that she wanted to watch it?
