HANEEFAH POV. I was reciting the Holy Quran after subh prayer this morning when my phone rang. I picked up my phone from the bedside drawer and the caller ID flashed before my eyes making a smile travel across my face. It was my mom. "Assalamualaikum Ummah inakwana ( peace be unto you, good morning mum) " I greeted joyfully. "Waalaykisalam baby an tashi lafiya ( peace be unto you too, baby how was your night) " she asked.

Alice didn’t waste any time and chanted an incantation. “As the power bestowed upon me, I’m calling all the divine spirits of the orbs of life and death and the infinite power of the white diamond to grant me the power I need to defeat all evils and to heal the broken lands. In the name of Almighty God, I command you divine spirits to wipe out all the devil slime at once!” Suddenly, a vast divine holy light spread all over the magic realm and all the devil slime vanished in an instant. Everyone yelled again in victory as they witnessed the miracle.

Besides that this is not new to me anymore, nothing can spoil my bright mood today. I hummed a song in my mind as I grace my way to the grand doors. “Well, good morning.” I was greeted by a gentle cool breeze and the pleasant smell of dewdrops in the grass. The early risers chirped, about their morning rituals, and golden light was everywhere, covering natural and man-made creations, full of beauty and magic.

“You need not ask, I need not tell. I am what I am. I come when it is time for a chance to be given and blessings to be imparted.” Journee blinked and lo! She was back in her room. “Wha…t…” I see Ma’oz in meditation on my bed, me tucked in the corner, almost falling off. Thank you, Spirit of Chance and Blessing! Journee was eternally grateful and deep in her heart, she promised to love and remember the spirit for all her life. She came when I needed someone, and she brought me out of my hellish trap. “You didn’t have to do that!” Journee snapped at Ma’oz and shoved him off her bed.

Eloise stood still, letting the beauty wash over her. For the first time in many days, a quiet sense of hope stirred in her chest. A new morning, she thought. A new beginning. The trials ahead would not vanish, but perhaps she could face them with renewed strength. She closed her eyes and whispered a silent prayer, clinging tightly to her faith—the unshakeable belief that no darkness, no evil spirit, could ever overcome the power of God. She stretched both arms wide toward the rising sun, palms open, as though receiving the warmth and hope she had begged for in her darkest moments. The golden light bathed her face, chasing away the lingering shadows in her heart.
