I’m typing my reply when I got a message from unregistered number and it says “You’re tired, you better rest and sleep, Good night, see you tomorrow” Since it not registered, I try to compose a text for a reply when my phone ring, it’s Aya. Oh I forgot to text her back, I was occupied by this unknown sender. “Hello, Ya” I started “Yeah, I’m home a little while now, yeah, I’m sorry Juancho and I talked, that’s why. Don’t worry, okay? Did you eat?, You should rest now, I’m just reviewing my notes for our upcoming exam, and I’ll go to sleep, you should too, I know you’re tired. Yeah, Okay. Goodnight” and I continue my typing my message for this mystery sender.

She has melodies, she has movie soundtracks that seriously put me in a sad mood. I'm slowly falling asleep when my phone vibrates. I roll my eyes, who the hell is texting me now? I took my phone and opened my messages. Richard? I rolled my eyes while replying Jennifer. Jennifer? Goodnight love ☺️ My heart fluttered. My phone fell of my hand. My mind was racing. My heart was about to burst out of my chest. A smile on my lips. Why am I feeling this way for a goodnight message? * Day 2 *

I don't even know why I am smiling over a goodnight text, I'm so retarded. I locked my phone once again and slept for real.

I took my phone to stop my alarm and to my surprise, I had a message it's so weird because I had no one that can text me so I opened it. Good morning beautiful, I hope you had a good night's sleep I wanted to come to your room but I didn't feel like disturbing you and besides, I had something to do so get ready by 10:00 I'm coming to get you. Driiiiiiiiiiiiiiing driiiiiiiiiiing.. My phone was vibrating under my nose. I seriously don't know how and when did i fall asleep! I wonder what time it is.. I didn' get up ,and stayed under my sheets instead. I rubbed my eyes and stretched my arm,trying to find my phone. I've recieved a message from Dylan. 《Good morning to the most gorgeous girl that i've ever known. So how was the night? Did you miss me by yiur side? And.. Thank you for choosing me baby. Words can't describe how much i love you! 》

I love you’s popping up more often lately, always paired with heart emojis and kissing faces. Good-night messages that ended with sweet dreams and reminders that he was thinking of me. Every single one was kind. Every single one was real. Every single one made the guilt on my chest feel heavier. I scrolled all the way to his last message from tonight...a simple, Frank: Goodnight, handsome. Can’t wait to see you soon. And my thumb hovered over the keyboard for what felt like an eternity, my heart racing in the quiet.

Said every girl ever. I wanted to voice out my thoughts but kept it to myself and smiled at her. I lay down on my bed and took out my phone from under my pillow. I unlocked the phone and in that instant, I noticed I had a text from a number. I clicked on it and gasped slightly at the content of the message. Unknown number: Hey, it's Lucas. Just wanted to say good night. I hope you sleep well and dream of me.

As I crawled into bed, I texted Layla Finn: Good night Beautiful. Thanks for such a wonderful night. Layla responded immediately Layla: Good night. I can't wait to see you tomorrow. I smiled happily and fell asleep

I set my alarm first and then text her. Hey, gorgeous. That is me home safe and sound! X I don’t know if she will text back because she may have fallen asleep. I see the tiny writing bubbles on the screen. Maybe she isn’t sleeping, after all. Aubrey: Hey. Glad you got home safely. Thanks for letting me know, X ME: Yes! All good. I am going to get to sleep. I’ll go to his new address. I text him a ‘good night’ greeting and tell him what happened today. I also send him a reminder — that I’m always here for him. After sending a simple heart emoticon, I bury myself into my comfy bed, hoping that Ryle is in good condition. I love him. So much. Tomorrow is a big day. A big, big day.
