Once we've said our good nights, I'm back in my pajamas, my eyes staring blankly at the ceiling as a thousand thoughts cloud my head. It always happens that I always have something to think about before I go to sleep. My phone makes a 'ding' sound and I furrow my brows slightly. These people should learn to sleep- oh wait, I'm still awake. I see it's a text from Angelo. Sweet dreams, my love A soft smile makes it's way on my face. I'll happily dream about you. Good night. I press the home button, closing my eyes and drifting off to sleep.

Subject: 'Night, Isabella Me: Goodnight, Max. With a sense of contentment, I set my phone aside and closed my eyes. I felt grateful for the friends who had stayed up for me, the messages that reassured me, and the bond that held us together. As sleep embraced me, I carried the warmth of their love in my heart, knowing that no matter what challenges lay ahead, I had a support system that would always be there.

The last text from him still sat there unread from when I’d passed out: a simple “Miss you already. Sleep well, baby. Call me when you wake up ❤️” sent at 1:14 a.m. Beneath it, the three little dots from when he’d started typing something else and then stopped. I could picture him, shirtless in his bed, phone glowing against his face, thumb hesitating before he decided not to push. I typed slowly ; “Good morning. I couldn’t send you a message last night, I literally slept on my couch 😂”

“You really are the sweetest girlfriend he could ever have darling.” I smiled. “Good Night mom, I still have to text my boyfriend good night before I sleep.” “Go on, pretty sweetheart! Good Night!’

Another text. The other 8 texts contained similar messages with him asking how I was and apologizing. I sighed and sent him a quick message. “I'm fine, don't bother coming about. I will call you tomorrow morning, it's okay that you couldn't make it tonight, everything went well. Good night” I typed out my message quickly and hit the send button. As soon as I did that, I sent a quick hi to Laura to find out if she was still awake before I dropped my phone back into my bag.

Groaning I reached out for my phone. There was a message from an unknown number. I knitted my eyebrows in confusion and opened the message. The next thing I read made my heart beats fasten and I stared at it, thinking it is just my illusion but even after sometime when the text didn't disappear, I came to the conclusion that this person won't leave me so easily. The text read "Good Night Corgi, dream of me" with a wink emoji at the end.

sent at 8:30pm "I love you, can't wait to meet you, Good night Teddy"sent at 10:01pm. Andre drew a deep ragging breath and typed with feverish fingers. "Me too, it's going to be a great day, sweet dreams". He replied and switched off his phone,closing his eyes back tightly, he swallowed hard.

} {Hope you had the best day today? {Are you already asleep, pretty one?} {Really wanted to know how your day went 😔} {I guess I should wish you a Goodnight.} {☹️☹️☹️☹️} What’s with this guy? He doesn’t even know me well enough to worry about my day. I sighed and replied. {My day was okay. Didn’t have the best day, but it was better than yesterday. Thank you for asking.} I was typing ‘Goodnight’ when I saw he was typing, so I stopped.

The screen light from my phone illuminated the room with a blue glow as I typed a message to Tyler first. Me: Can't believe you're still busy 😞 I'm going to sleep now. It was an interesting day. Hope we find a gap to talk a little more tomorrow. Good Night ❤️ Then I began to type a message to Ryder. Me: I'm SO tired. Gonna go to sleep now. I'll see you tomorrow ❤️ Ryder: You'd better dream of me. Night Kate ❤️

“How are you still asleep? It's breakfast time.” “Okay I will be down in an hour or so. ” I yawn. “I'm waiting right here.” He smiles making his way in. “Oh come in.” I snort to myself. He makes himself comfortable on my bed. I get ready in the bathroom with him waiting for me. When done, I grab my phone and text Arielle and Tamina to know how they're doing and I text Nessa and Ashanti a motivational quote by Dr Martin Luther King and an 'I love you' to Mom and Dad.
