Goosebumps Dummies Novels & Stories

Too bad they never imagined I had already gotten rid of it. My phone suddenly buzzed with a message. I glanced down and smiled bitterly. Mom and Dad thought it was a concerned message from Byron, and they exchanged guilty glances. Unfortunately, they were only half right. It was indeed from Byron, but the message read, "Something came up at work. I won't be home tonight." Right after that, Claire sent me a video. Byron was in the hospital, head bowed as he peeled an orange for her, his gaze tender. The caption read, "I'm the one Byron loves. An ugly duckling is forever an ugly duckling. You'll never become a swan."

A massive stone dummy erupted from the floor, seven feet tall, covered in spikes, and holding weapons. I stared and the dummy stared back with glowing red eyes. “What the actual demon-fucked hell is that?!” “Your warm-up,” Dax said. “Warm-up?!” “And no using your powers,” Riven added from his seat. “You need to increase physical endurance.” “And if you cry,” Zyran said sweetly, “I’ll record it.” “And if you die,” Zaiden grinned, “I’ll avenge you. Eventually. After lunch.” “I hate all of you,” I hissed.

, I got startled by a girl who gripped on my leg which send goosebumps to my body, she was Somniloquising though, poor girl, ℳℴ𝓂, 𝒹ℴ𝓃'𝓉 𝓁ℯ𝒶𝓋ℯ 𝓌𝒾𝓉𝒽ℴ𝓊𝓉 𝓂ℯ 𝓅𝓁ℯ𝒶𝓈ℯ….' I chuckled at her words, everyone must be experiencing what I am finding so difficult also, I stared at her a minute and dashed out of the dark room.

Everywhere around me was silent but I felt like someone was watching me and it made goosebumps appear on my skin. I rubbed my hands along the length of my arm to get rid of the goosebumps but they won’t go away. The eyes on me were creepy even though I could not see it or the person. It felt like something was crawling up my body and it was making me shudder in shock. I wanted to call Nathan but I didn’t want to look like a fool if they didn’t find anyone lurking around the property so I decided to shake it off as a figment of my imagination.

"Sorry, that was unwelcome trouble." With an easygoing smile, Dima seemed ready to comfort her with a pat on the head, but as his hand approached, Kartika instinctively stepped aside, avoiding his touch. His fingers paused in the air for a moment before he withdrew, disguising any hurt and returning to his nonchalant demeanor. "It's no trouble at all." Remembering when Dima casually discarded his handkerchief, Kartika questioned whether his time abroad had caused him to develop a phobia of uncleanliness. He’d been so quick to clean his hands after just a brush against the man's sleeve—even through fabric!

After we heard a response, she gestured for us to go in. The moment the door opened, an intense, spine-chilling cold ran through me, causing my body to shudder. Goosebumps broke out of my skin, the tip of my fingers almost numb from the distressing feeling. It felt like I had walked into a trap, one I wasn't going to survive. I wanted to close my eyes and be back in the comfort of my beautiful apartment but I knew my only escape was death.
