"You've got to pull it together! Please! "This has to be fake—it's all fake! That bastard Andrew just planted false rumors to scare us!" Dominic scrambled back to his feet, nodding like a madman. "Right, right… it's all fake. Just a bluff… it has to be…" Just then, a thunderous roar came from outside as an old man stormed into the room—furious and unannounced. It was Alfred Goth, the oldest surviving member of the Goth family. His hair was fully silver, and he had been in charge of half the family's businesses for years. Most importantly, he was the one who maintained the family's relationships with Jayrodale's upper class.

CASSANDRA POV "Mom, please don't make me go," I whined, slowly getting up from my bed. Unfortunately, today was the day of my engagement which I was not looking forward to, considering I'm engaged to the one and only Alessandro Russo. Alessandro and I met a couple of years back and from what I saw, he was extremely ruthless and quite insane. However, since my father passed away, I had to get married to secure a male leader for our mafia - a worthy successor.

“That’s an order, Natalia.” Her jaw tightened, lips pressing into a thin line, but she didn’t argue, not this time. She turned and vanished toward the main house. I could hear her calling out orders inside, and for a fleeting moment, I allowed myself to breathe easier. At least, I knew that I didn’t have to worry about protecting her out here. “Alpha, they managed to breach the secret gates.” One of the gammas said, and I growled. “Make sure that they die before they leave the tunnels.” I said, looking at him. He nodded, and I grabbed one of the rogues just as she approached me.

Alfred was the last to learn what had happened. He had always been careful to protect his position and his future. Under normal circumstances, he would never have involved himself in the conflicts unfolding in New York. But after he heard Wendy's account, his canines pushed down against his lower lip, his wolf thrashed restlessly inside him, and his furious pheromones surged into the air. Alfred pushed aside the people in front of him and lunged straight at Germain. "The she-wolf you kidnapped is my good friend's sister! You almost ruined her life, and now you want to pretend nothing happened? So yeah, this is personal."

Desperate to stop him, I summoned my magic, pulling Xavier back and placing my hands on his muscular arms, urging him to find calm. "Xavier, don't kill him. I don't need more problems on my plate," I pleaded. Catching his breath and trying to suppress his inner beast, he looked into my eyes. "We'll call the cops," I said decisively. Xavier nodded, though it was clear the protective wolf inside him still yearned to punish Mr. Alfred. "I'm sorry. Please forgive me or call the cops," Mr Alfred pleaded. "I'll pay for my crimes."

A female with a bobcat hair says, smiling in glee before running for the hut. “Yes, and you don’t have to worry about it. Alfred did say this could happen.” A male with messy hair followed before turning to their eldest member, who was now checking the inside of the dwelling provided to them. “Did he?” Selene frowned, both amused and confused on how the person could have known about it. “Yes, Alfred knows a lot of things. He was once a gamma of a pack before becoming a vagabond.” Another female with long curly hair states with pride.

Making you aware that one wrong move can get you killed in a less than a nanosecond. As soon as, the entourage of Alfa Re entered the Royale Palace, a shift in the air was filled. Alfa Re has released some of his power and every werewolf out in the vincinty of the place felt the presence of Alfa Re Supremo. The warriors that were assigned at the main entrance named after first Alfa Re - Aldrich Entrance, stood up more straight than a ramrod. Even though I was his mate, his aura was pressuring me down as well, the reason being I was not marked yet and I don't share his DNA as of yet.

Alfredo was excited about the money and he could not wait to get back to the camp and swim in it literally. Things had worked out for him finally after all these years of chasing Kimberly to pay up her father's debt, a debt that was actually non existent because he had struck a deal with the Dad before he died but since he had no witness to the deal and had not told anyone about it, Alfredo had decided to extort the money from his daughter because he was in need of money critically and that was the only eat that he could get the money especially when she got married to Sir Ethan.

More importantly, who the hell is this man? Sitting there quietly staring right back at him, I don’t say anything because I am afraid what he will do. He cocks his head and looks at me peculiarly before he says, “I don’t know where my manners are today, but I must introduce myself. My name is Alfred Kingsley. I am the mafia king of Calumet City and the surrounding areas. If anyone wants to do business here, they have to go through me and pay handsomely.” He trails off for a moment and looks like he is thinking of something before he continues.

I took in the environment and saw everyone at work but they immediately stopped whenever I got close to greet me, well if they didn't know the consequences. I walked down to the basement where there are cells and my beautiful torment room. Alfred was already in there chained to a chair. You must be wondering what he did, let me explain, Alfred was a bartender who owned a lot of money because of his Dad yet he couldn't meet up with the deadline to pay.
