Guilty pleasures

Guilty pleasures

Since he said it was delicious I decided to take a big sip, emptying the contents of the cup into my mouth. As soon as it touched my tongue, I cringed. My nose wrinkled up and I wanted to puke. It was awful. It has no taste of coffee at all, just a coffee smell with milky taste. I spat it back in the cup and rinsed my mouth. It doesn't take rocket science to make coffee but why was I so bad at it. " You really think my coffee was divine?" I questioned Tyler. "My taste buds think that anything prepared by your lovely hands is divine." Tyler teased.

His Cold CEO

His Cold CEO

Epilogue: Two Years Later POV: Noah The café was quiet, a hidden gem tucked away on a cobblestone side street in the heart of the Marais. The air inside was a rich blend of dark roast coffee, steamed milk, and the buttery, sweet scent of freshly baked brioche that seemed to seep from the very walls. Outside, a soft, persistent rain misted the windowpanes, blurring the world into a watercolor painting of grey stone and muted green awnings. The morning was slow, warm, and profoundly human. It was a world away from the gleaming, high-stakes pressure of their lives.

Luna And Her Passionate Werewolf

Luna And Her Passionate Werewolf

Nath laughed instead, of course, leaving Rula confused by the response she received. "Are you laughing at me?" Rula referred to herself. "I'm serious!" Nath still needs to answer. Instead, he continued laughing, then handed Rula a cup of coffee. Rula flinched. Earlier, she had been served tea with a strong aroma piercing her nose Rula. Now, Rula got a cup of unknown black coffee. "Drink it while it's warm. It tastes perfect," Nath said kindly. Rula gave a smile. "Who knew you poisoned this coffee to kill me."

The Alpha's Fight for His Omega

The Alpha's Fight for His Omega

Chastity smiled shyly at him. “I will. On one condition.” Colby said. “What condition?” Chastity asked sadly. “Tell me how the hell you make your coffee so good. Every other coffee tastes like shit compared to yours.” Colby grumbled. “Really?” Chastity laughed. “Hell yes! The only good coffee is yours. All the rest is crap.” “Fine. One spoon of french roast, one spoon of hazelnut, and one spoon of dark roast. But them in a container, shake it well, then dump in the filter, and start.”

Author has responded, this book is NOT continued on another app. I went back to try and find it on that app but it is now gone from my library. This IS the full book and is not continued elsewhere. Sorry that I misspoke. Loved this story & wish author had more books to enjoy.

The Mafia's Not So Fluffy Romance

The Mafia's Not So Fluffy Romance

Arching his eyebrows, he signed to his son to have his coffee. Sighing for the umpteenth time, Weylin curved his index finger through the loop of the handle. The aroma of the coffee hit his nose, making his senses relax. As he took a sip of coffee, the familiar taste of bitterness and warmth spread across his tongue. Subconsciously, he hummed, feeling the drink doing its magic. It made his tensed muscles relax and his mind took a break from the chaotic world. After a few sips, he felt a lot better than before and his mind too seemed to clear a bit. “Weylin,” Blake spoke, breaking the silence.

Falling under the irresistible charm of his stepdad

Falling under the irresistible charm of his stepdad

Gary ignored the carafe and went to the old-fashioned coffee machine on the counter and started filling the filter with coffee grounds. Within a few minutes, the kitchen was filled with the aroma of the dark roast that Gary had chosen, but for some strange reason, the smell was upsetting my stomach. I swallowed down the unpleasant smell and decided I would have a cup of Tania’s tea instead. “I am confused, Gary. I don't know what to do with myself,” I finally blurted. I could confess to him that I felt completely lost as a man. Boredom and aimlessness were only half the problem but I wasn't about to tell him that I also have a deep crush on my daughter-in-law. That was too shameful to confes

RUTHLESS BILLIONAIRE EX-HUSBAND CHASED ME BACK

RUTHLESS BILLIONAIRE EX-HUSBAND CHASED ME BACK

“We were due for a field trip.” The Apocrypha Gastronomica was housed in a pocket dimension that looked like a grandmother’s kitchen crossed with a mad alchemist’s lab. Jars of glowing liquids lined shelves, cookbooks floated in mid-air, and a faint smell of ozone and burnt sugar hung in the air. In the center of the room, hovering over the main tome—a massive book bound in what looked like living dough—was the problem.

work winding down, takeout decisions, and the relaxed settling in that signaled the conclusion of another day in their shared lives. "How's the book coming?" Max questioned, bringing her feet into his lap. "Slowly. My editor continues asking for more information about the psychological consequences of being threatened by dangerous criminals, yet I keep wanting to write about how you make me coffee every morning without being asked." "The coffee thing is more interesting?" "The coffee thing is what really transformed my life. The illicit activity was only dramatic window dressing." Max grinned softly, making her stomach flutter even after all this time. "What did you write
