A RISE FOR GRACE

A RISE FOR GRACE

Rita’s POV Hi there, I’m Rita Davis, a first-year student at Picaremore University in the bustling metropolis of Shenza City. Life wasn't always like this for me. I was raised as the only child by my father in Lacoste Town, a quiet little place far from the hustle and bustle of the big city. But ever since I lost my mother at the tender age of eight, things have been different.Growing up, I always dreamed of studying in Shenza City. It was a dream shared by many youngsters in Lacoste Town, a glimmer of hope in an otherwise ordinary existence.

Controlled Men, the adventure of Tom Salisbury.

He looked at the book cover, 'Order of the Chalice, Guardian of the Lost Arts' "What do you want me to do?" He asked again "Ascend" "Ascend to where?" 'No reply' "Okay, but what's all this, what are they for, and why me? Why me? Am a boy." By now he was exasperated. "Because you're the best," the book started answering from the last question. "The most suitable candidate, you can fail and may fail but you can rise and you may rise. Most men can never rise and will not rise because of who they are, because they do not possess the energy to and they were not chosen. But you, son, you're he, and you're chosen. The eras dissect and the periods intersect. The nexus of life is beyond human underst

Rise After the Fall

Rise After the Fall

Daniel’s niece, Veronica, was the first to raise her phone and scream. Then cheers followed one after another. “Wow! Veronica is right! I got fifty thousand too!” “Same here! The company really delivered this year!” “Mr. Aster is so generous! Hard work pays off! Let’s make next year even greater!” … One shout of “fifty thousand” after another burst around me like firecrackers. I lowered my head and checked my banking app. It was empty. Just like previous years, there wasn’t a single deposit notification. A tight frustration slowly built in my chest.

Because life has a way of making things right even when everything seems like a dead-end. Don’t give up. Because you never know what good thing is waiting for you just around the corner. Her Rise After Ruin

Her Rise After Ruin

“Can’t you do anything right?! You useless child!” Emely’s shrill voice shattered the silence of the luxurious living room. Clarisa, the poor little girl, trembled violently as her tiny fingers struggled to reach the water dispenser placed high on the counter. In the living area, Vanes sat back arrogantly. She was no ordinary sister-in-law; she was Dewangga’s first love—the one he failed to marry because of family disapproval in the past—yet now she lived in this house as a “special guest,” more respected than Serena.

Rising from the ash

Rising from the ash

“Quiet, unsure of myself. But then I realized that I didn’t have to change for anyone.” Sophia had looked up at her, surprised. “You were shy too?” “Oh, terribly,” Grandma Margaret chuckled. “But I found my strength in time. And you will too.” Another memory surfaced—one of the nights she couldn’t sleep because the whispers of the bullies echoed in her mind. Grandma Margaret had stayed up with her, giving her warm milk and telling her stories until she finally drifted off to sleep Then there was the day Miss Evans gave her a book that changed everything. “This is for you,” the teacher had said. “It’s about a girl who finds her voice in a world that wants to silence her.”

Rising From the Ashes of Betrayal

Rising From the Ashes of Betrayal

Blood dyed the entire mountain red before everyone around me could realize what had happened. As the ceremony began, I appeared before the Gate to Heaven, staring coldly at the lively scene above. Step by step, I ascended the mountain peak. The stone stairs beneath my feet crumbled into dust with each step I took.

Enchanting the Prince

Enchanting the Prince

Ailduin points to the one I’ve been reading, “is the second.” Buppig looks thoughtful for a second before turning the page back one. “Read the first one, Princess. We call this one, 'The Rise of the Giants.'” “Call me Lily, Buppig.” I say distractedly. I look down and begin reading the first prophecy out loud. When those that have become more earth and animal Begin to rise again It will announce the beginning of the end And the peace within the land will wane. She will call to them and they will rise

This is definitely my favorite from all the guardian series. It’s so different and refreshing! The storyline is so well written. Although I did hope there were more scenes of Aolis and Lily together though, but it’s amazing and I even reread the book!

I just finished this book, and it was amazing. I loved all previous books a lot, but this was very different, made my heart warm ... Since Cara and Rik and Canyon Ridge Pack were my favourites, I am so happy to see Lily becoming so strong and One True Queen ...
