Where Do We Belong?

Where Do We Belong?

Cassidy was the one who got lucky. The grave realm wasn’t as bad as she was expecting. Not to mention she does live in a cemetery surrounded by dead people every day. This is exactly what the grave realm was all about. It was just one never ending cemetery surrounded by lights and festivities and only a few buildings. As soon as Cassidy stepped foot in the grave realm, she felt like she had come home. Everywhere she looked there was tombstone after tombstone and it brought a tear to her eye. She saw ghosts looking at her before trying to go invisible but she told them it wouldn’t work on her.

Young master Xander's pet

Young master Xander's pet

"The hysteria Northern graveyard? Yeah." Roman uttered with subtle pressure as he allowed himself to articulate despite the ache in his body. After he was furrowed off the carriage, his body collided with a tall hard tree. It didn't halt there, his body continued to rumble down the muddy sloppy soil, inducing his face into the sluggish dirt. Now, they were off their trail. "How did we get here?" The hysteria Northern cemetery was a no-go zone to all empires. Despite it being a graveyard, no typical body was buried inside. It was conveyed that the northern creature buries his prey there after feeding on them. So it constantly lurked around there.

THE HIDDEN OMEGA: Disguised As A Boy In The Alpha Academy

THE HIDDEN OMEGA: Disguised As A Boy In The Alpha Academy

There was nobody there, nothing at all. Jared stared at it. His mouth opened but no sound came out at first. Then a noise erupted from the back of his throat, it was something between a sob and a growl. "What in the-" One gravedigger leaned over to look, his eyes wide with astonishment. "Where's the body?" "Someone must have stolen it.” Jared whispered shakily. His heart thumping wildly.” Maybe grave robbers found the body or someone performed an act of necromancy.”

World Of Darkness

World Of Darkness

“They say that Father Albert has been furious about the matter. He has asked the city council to post soldiers at the entrance to the cemetery in order to prevent it from happening again. " "Father Albert?" "The priest of Mortis of the church of the six great gods." "And who is the 'Tomb Raider'?" Viktor asked nervously. “The name has its origin in the popular fable that parents tell their children to scare them and make them behave well. But now it seems that the "Tomb Raider" is not a simple scary tale for children, after all. The first bodies began to disappear at the end of last year. Three in a few months. The first was hardly missed, since it belonged to a hanged criminal. The second w

THE GRAVE OF GREY AND GOLD

THE GRAVE OF GREY AND GOLD

looking helpless as he lost the only thing that made him a god: his land. "You look like you're staring at a funeral," Silas rumbled, standing by the window. His silhouette appeared massive against the grey sky. "I am," I whispered. My voice was a dry rasp, like a dead leaf when crushed. "I'm watching the burial of the Crescent Alpha. I just didn't expect the scene to look so... boring, and ordinary…" My cough broke the silence, a deep, racking tremor that made my ribs feel like they were being snapped back one by one. I pressed a tissue to my mouth that quickly soaked in a dark, thick crimson. I didn't panic; that was for people who still had a future.

Digging His Grave

Digging His Grave

At a party hosted at our house, my husband sang a soul-stirring rendition of “Missing You Tonight". He poured his heart into it, his eyes misty and his voice raspy with emotion. I secretly recorded a video and posted it online. To my surprise, the video blew up. Hundreds of thousands of likes poured in, with the comment section overflowing with sympathy. Laughing, I handed my phone to my husband. “Jacob, you went viral.” The top-voted comment read: [Girl, I’m not one to stir up drama, but your husband looks like he’s nursing a broken heart.] I thought he’d just laugh it off with a half-hearted smile. Instead, he took the phone and looked me straight in the eye with dead seriousness. “Yo

Grieving Hearts

He stopped and looked at his palms it was a deep shade of red, he furrowed his brows as he realised he can't feel anything. Taking a shaky breath, he took out the orchids and placed it over the top of the cemetery, with the same frailness and tenderness as someone would show while dealing with their most loved possession, most precious possession, his hands trembling badly, with exhaustion, with the emotions he was feeling, he didn't know.

The Secretly Rich Man

The Secretly Rich Man

After all, everyone here was risking their lives to break into the general’s tomb to obtain the infamous supreme angelic artifact that laid within… Chuckling in response, Master Greendrake then replied, “Let’s not point fingers at each other before we even enter. Regardless, I simply know that there are treasures in one of the seventy-two mounds. The rest are empty, and sadly enough, I have no idea which mound is the correct one!” “Can the Yinblood pellet be found in the mound with the treasure?” asked Gerald. “It can, Mr. Crawford. That aside… Are you really just here for the pellets, Mr. Crawford…? Not at all for the angelic artifact…?” asked Master Greendrake as he stroked his goatee whil

It's a good book as far as I have read so far. I'm getting discouraged, though. I'm running out of patience and time for these types of stories. "Neverending" stories where some chapters repeat themselves for some reason or other drives me bunkers. Just saying. I prefer shorter stories.

Marked in the Middle

Marked in the Middle

Human, wolf, and things that looked like both. Lira crouched, brushing her fingers across a skull fused with iron veins. “This isn’t a battlefield. It’s a graveyard.” Kael nodded grimly. “A sacrifice. The Warden’s power needed blood to anchor itself. These are the ones who gave it.” The whispering grew louder as they walked. Soon, shapes began to flicker along the edges of the horizon, thin, shadowy figures with hollow eyes. They didn’t move like the echoes in the Crown’s realm; these were slower, heavier, dragging the weight of memory itself.
