CHAPTER 141 DARIUS’S POV The fall didn’t feel like a descent, it felt like the world had simply stopped existing beneath my boots. One second, I was standing on a floor of polished concrete and broken glass; the next, the freezing mountain air was a blow, stripping the breath from my lungs. I didn't let go of Iris. I couldn't.
