Dark and empty with nothing to see. "Is this my grave?" She asked herself. She sat on the edge of the pit and swung her legs, as she laid back and looked straight to the sky. She traced every bit of the star decorating the sky that night, she formed a casket with her imagination, and Joked about it being the most beautiful one in so many centuries. She sat up and looked straight into the pit and leaned down a bit. She could feel her heart beat faster as she pulled herself lower. She had nothing to lose and she knew that. She released her grip and let herself fall. She looked up at the sky and felt her body drop lower within seconds. She felt her body freeze up like she was deep into the sea.

I am woken by a stream of light warming my face. Batting my sore eyes open, I stare up at the ceiling above me. A skylight is directly above the bed and I can see trees overhead and the sky. It is the only glimpse of the outside world I am allowed. For looking around me, I notice that there are no windows in the shack. I lay looking out the window for sometime, trying to figure out what to do, then slowly sit up and swing my legs over the side of the bed. In doing so, I feel an incredible wave of nausea wash over me. I quickly jump off the bed and race toward the bathroom, just barely making it to the toilet in time.

My voice is heavy with excitement. She nods. "We call it the Secret Hub." We descend more than five flights of stairs until we reach the base, an empty room with its wall covered in graffiti of inks and text. It looks like a fucking ink museum. The writing looks like carvings on the wall, and if you turn your neck or look from different perspectives, it looks like the write-ups are trying to form images.

I stood up from the mattress with a swift, decisive motion, determined to return to the guardhouse and handle the security restructuring on my own authority rather than wasting any more valuable time in this cluttered room. As I made my sudden move toward the exit, my heavy leather boot caught violently against the leg of a nearby wooden side table that was hidden in the deep shadows of the room, throwing off my center of gravity entirely. I gasped out loud in surprise as my balance failed me completely, the heavy leather ledger flying from my grip as my body began a rapid, unavoidable descent toward the hard stone floor below.

I smirked and held in my urge to laugh. “A porn magazine?” I mocked as I chuckled a bit. Kyle couldn’t help but smirk as he lifted up several more of them. “Can you blame the person? I mean, look around you, it's not like they have internet usage here.” He commented and picked up more and more. He then narrowed his eyes as he tossed the last one onto the desk. “Pretty clever.” He started off as he flipped a switch of some kind. Suddenly The building began to shake. The floor started to descend into the ground as the sound of power could be heard all around us.

It was like a cottage but bigger. Stella gulped when she realized that they were not in the dark streets anymore but in the forest. How come she did not notice that they have entered the forest before? “Who lives here?” she asked before she was looking around. The forest was murky and dark but Xavier just chuckled when she was gripping his hand even more. “Come, I think you will like it here,” he said before he unlocked the door and went inside. Stella followed him before the lights were turned on. She was blinded for a moment until she had adjusted to the lighting. She gasped.

The hum changed pitch. And the pull twisted— not outward, but downward. Ronan’s stomach lurched as the floor beneath them shifted. Stone split with a deafening crack. Kiera screamed silently as gravity gave way— and the chamber opened beneath their feet, swallowing them whole.

Marcus muttered under his breath. He reached the stairwell—blocked. Concrete had collapsed halfway down, cutting off the path completely. No time, no pathway. Marcus turned sharply and kicked open the nearest office door. Windows,high up. Too high for a normal fall. Good thing he wasn’t normal. The floor shook violently again. I ignored Triss’ silent stare, bringing our focus back to the Grishan witch held in the spelled witch dungeon down in the basement. “I'm assuming this shakra belongs to the prisoner?”
